In the box is the APC UPS unit with a non-detachable cord, coaxial cord, data to USB cord and a manual. Keep in mind, this product is a little heavy. I appreciate the cord not detaching, no lost cord. One thing that I first noticed is the unit has the power and battery back split between two banks of receptacles. The left, has four plugs, these are the backup power supply, giving you four options of  sustainable power for the 45 minutes range of this battery pack. This can be anything from say a cell phone, laptop or tablet. The more items you plug in, the less charge the device will get and vice versa. (If there are less things plugged in, you should get more charge.) On the opposite side, you'll find another set of four receptacles, these are surge protected connections. Keep in mind that they are not part of the battery backup. This is where you're less important electrical items will get plugged in (the ones not necessarily needed to run continuously). Also this unit is not only surge protected but it also has a fuse, so if there's a sudden rise end voltage or amperage the fuse will go before your equipment. This section also includes a coaxial connection along with a data line connection with USB conversion. Initial setup was super easy; just plug it, in move to shipping termination on the battery, then press and hold the power button for 3 seconds or until you hear the beep. Now you're off and running. The battery pack of the building was tested with a single laptop with a 1400 battery and a single cell phone. In this configuration I was able to achieve about 54 minutes of continuous power time on the battery once it was unplugged from the wall. This battery backup system from a PC is a solid performer if I had to give it a rating would be 4 out of 5 stars; also remember once the power is tripped you must press the power button again to re-engage the circuit so that it will be back on constant power instead of battery power. Overall, I really love this product. The pros: ease of use, ease of setup, newer stand up design. The only cons for me was the weight. I plan to keep this stationery, so it is not a dealbreaker. Would I recommend to friends and family? Absolutely.

Only issue I have is with the Gigabit Ethernet protection. It was placed between my rounter and an ethernet switch, and causes some retransmissions. This config is probably not supported and same issue was observed with another APC model.

Works really great! I put it on my cable modem to prevent reboots.

Kicks on when the power goes out. Maintains power on the devices you choose. Works as expected.

It does what it claims to do. Plenty of time to get a computer shut down before losing data.

The cost is outweighed by the extensive damage this saves you from.

This is a great backup, performs well and very durable, not the first one that I buy and wont be the last.
