Easy to set-up. Just plug into any electrical socket to charge. I used this back-up battery for Wi-Fi outage. I love how it shows how many minutes of power are left on the battery. Works wonderfully. Highly recommend.

Was sold a defective product by Best Buy, On the advice of APC Tech Report I returned with 3 hours of purchase.

Check reviews and the most common error f02 so turn off unplug cable waiting and back to plug and battery continues not charging

the first unit I received had some issues after about 2 weeks. I contacted customer service and they got a new unit out but it took about 2 weeks to get to me. If you're relying on this day-to-day, that's a long time. Other then that, everything works well I use it to make sure my server doesn't turn off if we have a quick outage. Last long enough for a 5 to 10 min outage, which means I don't need to go reboot everything after that. I would recommend this if you're looking for a simple solution to make sure you have some time to shut down a computer or to make sure equipment that turns off easy when power flickers doesn't anymore.

I am very pleased with the APC Back-UPS Pro 1000VA Battery Back-Up System. I installed it in my home office and connected my surge protector to it. I have a computer, 2 monitors, a switch, and a couple smart home devices connected to the surge protector. I then unplugged the APC battery backup unit to test it out. Everything kept running, and the APC emitted a warning tone to let me know power had been lost. I let it chug along for a little bit that way with no degradation in how my devices operated. I am completely confident it will provide adequate time for me to complete a task and then safely shut down in the event of a power outage; and I can confidently recommend this little guy.

Setup was very easy, simply plug in, move power cords, and use. The battery switches on instantly without loss of power on my tower computer or the peripherals. Convenient alarm goes off to let the user know that devices are running off the battery

My last UPS just kicked the bucket. So happy to try this one. I love being able to push the button and get a status of the UPS. I can see load, battery status, and volts used. I can also see events and time available in case of power loss which shows to be 93 minutes at current load. It had easy directions for hooking up the battery right out of the box. I am super pleased with this UPS.

Very quiet. Let's me know when it is functioning as directed. Stores under my desk nicely. Used for a back-up on energy for my TV, Computer, Printer (HP) and land phone.

Easy to set up. Connect the battery, then plug in the devices needing ups and/or surge protection, including cable and phone lines. It has recorded one 'event' that was probably a power hiccup and has worked fine.

Easy to install and use. Bought to backup tankless hot water system when blackouts occur. System needs small amount of electricity to ignite flame to heat hot water.

APC is a good company this one is a little less VA then the one that went out but Good Price for a good System.

So far no issues and seems fine. I was concerned about some previous reviews concerning outgasing and fires. This unit has not exhibited these issues (to date).

This seems to be working. I have had 3 events according to the display. Not sure if they were surges or outages. The alarm is definitely loud.
