Posted .Thank you for taking the time to review our UPS. I am sorry to hear that the runtime wasn't expected. The runtime may be lower because the power draw may be higher than expected. If you are getting 5 minutes of runtime the power draw of the devices should be around 450 watts. The typical recharge time would be around 12 hours but the first time the unit is powered up it can take 24hours to fully charge. If the UPS continues to take 24hours to charge or the power draw is much lower than 450 watts please do not hesitate to reach out to an APCbySchneider support team. Horrible shipping and item was open box

I wouldn't mind but usually open box are sold at a lower price, that is not what i bought. The shipping box was falling apart, the actual box in which the battery came was somewhat beat up also. This is not about the performance of the actual battery I was just so mad that shipping was so careless.
