Work in progress review obviously. Can't truly review these units until you're in a moment of crisis, so to speak. Overall though, this is exactly what I was looking for. Just enough features for the price, and overall just enough surge protected ports, and back up power ports to accommodate what I need it for. Set-up is very simple, so much so that I'd recommend it to my dad and not expect him to need my help setting it up.

This is your basic, 1000 VA UPS. It’s powering my OLED TV and my Yamaha receiver. Works fantastic.

An essential for any house and expensive electronics

Does what it is supposed to, we have a lot of power outages!

Just got these this past week, so we have not tested them yet with a power outage. They will last varied amounts of time depending on what you have it connected with . But for my husband, it is so he has time to finish, save and turn off his computer. For me time to finish or save embroidery work on my sewing machine. 45 minutes for each is plenty of time.

Bought this with the purpose of protecting my valued electronics after just using normal surge protectors. Pretty heft due to the battery, but small enough that you can hide away. LED screen and buttons are fairly bright, so may be visit with the lights off if its not tucked away. But overall great purchase. Solid price for capacity.

I wanted to wait a bit before putting out a review and I'm glad I did. I bought this back-Up power supply at the beginning of the year and we have lost power multiple times and we work from home. This kept me working while others on my team were not able because they didn't look ahead. Thank you Best Buy & APC for selling what I needed most when there is no power

This APC backup is great for keeping my computer up and running during a power flicker or short outage. I appreciate that the electrical chords plug into the back of the unit which stands upright rather than on the top of the unit which lays more flat - like the competing 1000VA unit I bought earlier in the year. The flat unit can be shut off when my cat walks on it, but that cannot happen with this one.

Great power for such a small unit. It has worked every time with out any problems.

This battery back-up comes in very handy, when there's a power outage. I have my router hooked up to it, so that my WiFi connection remains uninterrupted and it hasn't failed me. I also like that fact that I can easily replace the internal battery, when it reaches the end of it's life.

Bought this for our office. Was a good value compared to other places.

Overall good product... The setup is pretty easy and long lasting

compact size, easy to hook up and use. Like the alarm silence feature.

This APC Back up has saved my PC/work countless of times. Living in PR where the power is not reliable it has allowed my computer to work for a good amount of time in which I can complete and save my work when power fails. (I have two LCD monitors and a PC with a 650W power supply connected to it and I get around 90-100 mins off it activating the power savings of the PC).

My old APC uninterruptable power supply/surge suppressor finally died on me and I needed a replacement quickly. Since I was very familiar with APCs products having owned five others, I went to my local Best Buy and bought it off the shelf. It works fine but I do have two things I’d change if APC ever asked. (1) I’d add two additional outlets bringing the total to 10 and make them separated from the other outlets by an inch more distance to allow for transformer use (Lots of computer peripherals have transformer blocks these days.) and (2) I allow the indicator lights on the from to automatically turn off after 5 minutes or so - right now they're on all the time.

We already had a smaller APC back up, but because we get lots of power outages here in the mountains we decided to upgrade to a larger one. We use it mainly for our Satellite Receiver because every time the power goes out it would take like 20 minutes to boot up, not with these battery backups they work great. I have a smaller one for my office equipment also that I use.
