Customers admire the Back-UPS Pro BX1000M-LM60 1KVA Tower UPS for its long battery life, ease of use, and reliable performance, frequently praising the clear display and compact size. However, some users found the closely spaced outlets inconvenient and noted that the price point might be a concern for some. A few also mentioned the unit's weight and audible alarm as potential drawbacks.

Works like advertised. We had a power surge recently and the device tripped off and alarmed us of outage. Saved our electronics because we unplugged them at the alarm. The other electronics not plugged in to the backup got fried

My previous UPS died after several years. I decided to replace the unit rather than trying to find replacement batteries. This one matches my original and seems to be working very well. Set up was fairly straight forward. It has quite a few capabilities that I am not using, but it's doing the job.

I love these. These work flawlessly. I have purchased a few for both TVs and PC setups. I even run my security cameras off of one in case the power gets shut off the cameras keep rolling in that time before the generator automatically turns on. Works great, no issues

Schneider Electric makes top tier electronics, even in the consumer market. I have these UPS's in play for all of my end users machines and basic devices these at their desks. Setup is wicked easy for anyone and their power switching is very reliable. Very easy to change the battery when needed too.

I purchased two of these. I utilize my UPS one of my units to provide uninterruptible power to my modem, router, and alarm system. This has allowed me to stay online during outages during storms here in FL.
It meters the load and allowed me to see how much power I would be utilizing at nominal use.
Easy setup.

Appears fully functioning. A transformer in the area blew but power resumed within a few seconds as I just happened to be watching the ups as it registered the brief interruption. No issues and the unit is status quo.
The negatives: No USB charging ports, just the monitoring connection and the outlets on the back are NOT spaced for transformer-sized plugs - they're pretty tightly situated. If a number of external hard drives are to be plugged in they'll have to be plugged opposite sides and half will not be protected.

Now you don't have to worry about leaving your computer system on when you're not at home. This unit not only provides 'clean' constant power to your computer with no spikes or brownouts but when power fails, it can extend the life of some components.

APC is the gold standard. Purchased to hook to my QNAP NAS which detected it upon plugging it up via USB. The display is perfect for determining load and estimated runtime on battery. I was able to use my rewards on it plus it was on sale when I got it so it was a pretty good buy.

I needed a UPS the would keep my 3D printers running long enough to survive short brownouts as well as give enough time to get them properly shutdown if it was a longer outage. Works well for this purpose, and also interfaces nicely with the open source software I use for my printers.

My 2nd battery back up. Easy to set up. They made sure the battery needs to be connected to work. Red sticker over the plug. Nicely done. Easy set up, now don’t have to worry about computer reset due to power failure.

This back-up power supply arrived in great shape. The battery was 50% charged and quickly went to full charge. The indicator lights work well and can be easily seen from under my desk. The alarm is loud and can be heard easily in all rooms of our home. So far it has performed very well.

This ups is awesome, very powerful and great display. I'm using it for my security cams and internet modem/router. I love how you can monitor everything that is plugged in to determine how long the battery will last, if power is lost.

Great product to keep things running a little longer when you lose power. I plug my Internet modem, and my Wifi Router into this device so when we lose power, I can continue to use the Wifi on my laptop and on my phone to keep in touch with work, family, and friends.

APC has been around for a while. Their battery backups have always been reliable. This one is no different. I have noticed this unit seems to be more sensitive (more relay clicking) to power fluctuations compared to the other APC units I have.

I've had several of this category product over the years and this one is my favorite. There are lots of ports on the back, very good info and buttons on the front and a very fair price. It works as intended in a power outage (buffers brown-outs, black-outs and power spikes). It protects my whole computer/phone network so I do not have to "worry" when an electrical storm rolls in. It will sacrifice itself if I get a direct lightening strike, thus protecting my other equipment. It may not have the longest back-up time, but I only "save and shut-down the computer" in a real outage anyways, so not an issue at all. As a bonus, the case is relatively small and it can sit about anywhere (desk/floor/bookcase). I consider this a necessity for my home's Wi-Fi network and personal computing abilities and safety.

I use this UPS for my work and it gets the job done. It’s done its thing well during multiple power problems.
If you’re using this with a regular PC, you’ll have 0 problems with using the PowerChute software to shutdown your PC. But if you’re using this with a server as I am, keep in mind this isn’t enterprise gear and APC doesn’t want you to use it like this, and it depends on the OS you’re running as to whether or not you can auto shutdown the box.
The specs I chose this model for were efficiency and capacity. I found the monitoring features interesting and somewhat helpful in figuring out if I was buying the correct size. I was surprised by and really like the cooling fan which turns on when the power goes off. Since the other USPs were dieing from heat, I see that as a real plus.
So far, very pleased with the purchase.
