So I needed this cable to connect my Ipad to an Innovation Station. It works well with n all for projecting and then I have separate speakers for sound. It is not, however, compatible with Netflix. This is not the product's fault but rather Netflix who has the issue with non-HD chords and cables. If I could i would have rather gotten HD connections. Overall the product works for presentations and simple projections. Not bad.

I bought this 2 hours before a meeting when I forgot my laptop. Since all files were also on my iPad, I took a chance. I will never be without it. Makes presentations simpler.

This adapter can be quite helpful while traveling. You don't need a laptop and you can use your iPhone or iPad to connect to any projector using Apple's keynote and iCloud.

I needed a connector. You know - to connect an iPad 2 to a VGA projector. What to do, what to do? How about an Apple 30-pin to VGA connector? So that's what this thing is. It connects the two things I needed to connect. It does that because, you know... it's a connector. It's right there in the name of the product. It just costs about three times what it should since it's just a .. you know... connector.

Easy to use. I've used it about a dozen times. It worked fine each time. Best results in landscape mode.

I bought this cable for attaching my iPad 3 to a projector, to mirror the iPad on a screen. It worked perfectly. I liked the fact that I could zoom on the iPad, and the image was transferred to the screen.

This is just what I needed to hook up my iPad to the projector. We use it a lot and makes showing the whole class an activity much easier.

For the price I can't complain, but I wish it did have sound pass through. For that I would have to pay triple, no thanks I'll use a cable instead.

It works but it uses the dchp protocols so you can’t watch the monitor and some content on the iPad.

I bought this to be able to watch videos from my iPad on a larger monitor. The adapter is very easy to use - just plug it in. The one bad thing about the adapter is that it easily unplugged from my iPad. This caused some frustration because I would have to get the monitor to recognize the iPad once I plugged it back in.

This is a good component to have if you have an iPad 1. If you have not upgraded your iPad and it is still working properly, then you should definitely buy this. I loved it, it works well. Though sometimes it get detached making my life difficult, but it's not like the end of the world. Have fun

Works great. I use the as option to have iPhone/iPad show iTunes through projector. Works nice.

It does exactly what it is designed to do: display what is on your iPad 3 or earlier on an external display via a VGA Cable. Yay.
