I have used higher end smartphones since 2012 and I am using an iPhone XS Max as my primary phone. I bought this iPhone XR for my dad, and I have used it for a couple days before handing it to my dad. I would say this is an amazing phone because of the smoothness of iOS, great cameras and battery life. Even though the LCD screen on XR is not as good as the OLED screen on my XS Max, I would say you will be ok with that unless you have other higher phones in hands. My dad is also loving his new phone too even though he needed time to get use to iOS. If you are not a hard core smartphone user like me, I highly suggest this phone over Xs. In addition, the Best Buy online tool made my purchase easy! It has a much better web interface than AT&T, which is carrier I am on.

It has a great camera resolution. Also, it has a face recognition feature. Moreover, it does have a apple pay system which allows us to pay online more easily and effectively. Overall I like this iPhone very much

This phone is significantly cheaper than the XsMax. And performs just the same. Screen size is perfect. If you do not care about .4 more inches of screen, and the dual camera for another 400 plus dollars, I recommend this phone.

I use to have 6 s, that battery die fast; let’s see how this is going to keep it up, so far so great!

I love the phone it’s just it goes insane after awhile of having it, also the camera drives me insane so yeah it’s an alright phone.

The iPhone XR is by far the best iPhone that I have owned (and I have owned/purchased for a family member every version since the beginning of the iPhone). I use my phone daily for work and exercise. This phone is fast and has an amazing battery life. This is important to me as I use my phone to track my Strava activity, which can include 4 hour bike rides and 8 hour hikes. This phone runs these applications while playing music and leaves me battery life to spare at the end of the day. The sound quality of the actual phone call is superb. I appreciated that I had a choice in how much memory I could purchase as I only need 128 GB. Even though I love "all things Apple", I had a hard time justifying paying over $1100 for my phone. Other than a better camera, I do not feel like I had to compromise on any other features. Incidentally, I feel like the camera on this phone is excellent. Overall, I have never been happier with my iPhone and I have not had any glitches or issues. This is a beautiful and functional phone and I appreciate that Apple made it more affordable than their other high end iPhone Xs.

My iPhone 6S finally gave out had to buy a new phone but couldn't afford the prices of new phones. Looked at all phones and decided to stay with the Apple and based upon reviews from varies people and consultants they stated for your money the iPhone XR 64GB was the best especially for people who just could not afford to really upgrade to the newest multi lens iPhones. So big difference between the 6S and the XR had to go and talk to guys at Best Buy to help with how to use the phone and problems I was having with the autozoom coming on and staying on my main screen and after learning about the various 1 finger, 2 finger and 3 finger swipes usage in various areas of the iPhone I was finally on my way. I had also shopped around for the best deal and Best Buy had the phone on sale and so bought the phone from Best Buy. Now u may think how can someone not know this little stuff, well, I'm in my late 60's and not very iPhone knowledgeable, just enough to get done what I use the phone for, be dangerous and then eventually I learn other neat things to use later as time progresses. But I'm really glad I did upgrade and I am very happy with this phone and I'd buy it again. Thanks again Best Buy for having the phone on sale when I really needed it! <]:^)=OOO:

Traded in my iPhone 7 for this Xr. Got a great trade in price from BestBuy too. Glad I shopped there first. Compared all three new phones and liked the size of this one the best. Bigger than my iPhone 7, but not as big as the Plus. Still fits in my shirt pocket. Didn't get the two back cameras, but that's OK. The camera on this one is fantastic too. Also much better price. Really like the face recognition feature and the 'tap to open' feature. Still learning new tricks with it since I've had it less than 2 weeks, but I love the phone.

The iPhone XR is the perfect iPhone for everyone and with the lowest price tag in the X series and the exact A12 Bionic chip it should be the only one you should consider. It is Incredibly fast and smooth and the sleek color finish is beautiful. My only word of warning is for those who are coming from the last generation of iPhones it will take some time to get used to the new Face ID as the finger sensor will be missed. Having to take the phone out in order to unlock it rather than simply placing my thumb on the sensor while it was in my pocket is a definite drawback particularly when utilizing a Bluetooth.

My daughter loves this phone it’s amazing the color is beautiful the phone is awesome the pictures it takes the size of the phone is perfect I one thing I’m not a fan of is the thickness and the weight of the phone it’s pretty heavy

I've owned an iPhone since the first one was released many years ago. The XR is my favorite so far. The screen size is perfect with amazing resolution. The facial recognition works instantaneously and flawlessly. The removal of the home button makes the screen bigger and nicer to look at. I love the screen clarity and the camera. The A12 chip is amazingly fast. I appreciate the fact that I could purchase the exact amount of memory that I needed and appreciate the choice of multiple colors. The battery life on this phone is simply amazing. I mountain bike with the GPS Strava app running for several hours while I stream music, text, take pictures, and make phone calls. All this and the battery lasts forever. This is a home run for Apple! I love this phone.

I just upgraded from an iPhone 7 to the latest iPhone XR... I have to say, I’m not a “plus” size phone person.. however I really have begun to appreciate the size of this 6.1 display !! I’m a huge fan of the surface charging capabilities .. and would recommend a Yootech brand as your choice of chargers .. amazingly fast charging.. the only downside would be based on your choice of phone cover as the pop out button will be in the way - I was able to find a great clear protective cover (as the new iPhones have glass cases) you need something worthy .. I found a nice ESR brand, clear to show off my color (white) includes a fold out metal bar that replaces a pop out button for phone stand, yet it is located in a spot lower on the case allowing adequate charging surface contact with my yootech. Love the face recognition vs touch thumb button on the iPhone 8 and lower .. also this phone boasts the best battery life of all iPhone to date .. surpassing X /XS ... I believe it.. as I never need to recharge my phone until the end of my day... it’s a huge difference from my iPhone 7 for sure .. I like this phone also because while it has the largest screen to date also 6.1 vs 5.8 of the X / XS.. and it doesn’t have dual rear facing cameras, it has a portrait feature not offered prior and it’s the lowest costing of all the X series .. I like it so much, I went back and bought another one to replace my daughters phone as an XRmas gift.,!!

If you like iPhones this is a could choice. I'm not a fan of no physical buttons but it seems Apple is moving away from them so if you want an iPhone you have no choice. The phone is fast and the face recognition is pretty quick and smooth. I do not like the removal of the 3.5mm headphone jack but again it's an Apple product and you have to do what Apple wants. The wired headphones in the box do work with the lightning plug, but I have never found the Apple earbuds comfortable. As a phone the camera is good and the speed is nice as well. Setup was simple but if you are moving to this from a phone with no buttons pay attention because some of the controls have changed and moved around.

Love this phone! Super fast and color is great. Size is between a max and x. Love all the feature it has! Great for the price!

The XR phone get somewhat mixed reviews and called the poor brother to the XS and XSmax. I don’t believe this is true. I have both phones and each have some pluses and minuses. The battery life on the XR is great. The screen might be bit behind the XS but it still delivers vibrant colors and decent resolutio. The camera do execelent pictures, you don’t get the dual camera set up, but the pictures coming from the XR are great. The body is pretty sleek and the colored aluminum pair well with the colors of the phone.

Wanted to get an Apple Watch so I switched from Samsung S9+ to get this phone and Apple Watch. I really like both. Yes, there is a bit of a learning curve from Android to Apple but at the end of the day a phone is a phone. Some issues with WiFi at home, it’s a little slow on the phone but could be our WiFi with an extra device. Camera is amazing and was better than my Samsung phone camera. iPhone seems to be a bit more intuitive, thinking before you do on what you want, but the Android is more customizable so depends if you want super easy or something you work a little harder with because you can do almost anything. Definitely worth the little extra for 128gb for the peace of mind that you’ll never run out of space. Definitely worth it for the price compared to other phones and although portrait mode is different than the XS you can just use AF lock to accomplish pretty much the same thing.
