We push the limit on the cable modem speed. This modem has gone beyond our needs. Comcast finally recognized the modem after an hour of classic ineptitude. Now everything is working right from streaming shows to a decent wifi router.

Worked well for upgraded TWC cable. You may need to upgrade mode to accommodate the speed increase for cable

It sets up easy and quietly does its job. I have never had any issues with it I had to upgrade to be able to handle Comcast's full range of services full range of services and I have not been disappointed .

I don't know how to review a passive device that I really don't have any control over. I have had this for about a month or so now, and I know that I needed it to get faster speeds from my cable company, which I am now enjoying. I now find that not all websites can keep up to the speed I have! This unit was recommended by a friend, and I have no regrets...we're still friends. :D

Got this baby at bestbuy, with them price matching Newegg price online for 80.99 thought i would try it and boy am i glad i did. easy setup with time warner and it is a DO SIS 3.0 which is 8 times faster than the 2.0. easy display read and without doubt the best modem i have ever owned. get one you won't regret it

Been renting our modem monthly for 10 years and just now invested in owning our own! So easy to set up (even with our cable internet provider). No problems with connection. Speed is, unfortunately, determined by our provider, but works just the same as the rented modem! So, really wish we would have done this sooner!

I needed a motem for Time Warmer. I was given a list by them, and thought it would be quite a process to sort through. The sales girl showed me the one she uses, and I bought it. It was cheaper than the cable company said I should expect. It has been working good, and I have had no problems.

Good value for a great price. It's way better then paying Spectrum for one.

Been a fan of Motorola Surfboard modems since early 2000s -- this is my fifth one, and I'm still a huge fan -- (off subject, the only model I do not recommend is the Surfboard Gateway device -- tried one out, and it was glitchy as heck -- reboots out of the blue, intermittent packet loss, randomly deleted DHCP reservations -- Motorola Surfboards are awesome for cable Internet connectivity, but lacking as far as routing ability -- but that's for another review) -- Anyway, great throughput -- I use it with my Cox Premiere subscription, which allows 50/25 -- takes full advantage of the throughput, along with the occasional download bursts of around 75-80 mbps -- and with DOCSIS 3.0, I have room to upgrade to the next highest Cox tier -- Also, it boots up pretty quickly, and the indicator lights on the front are super easy to read -- Overall, thumbs up!!

The modem installed with no problems, and found the internet fine, but Comcast required the MAC address to be added to our account to gain internet access. Unit is a nice size and is less prone to tipping over than our last Surfboard modem. It has lost the internet a couple of times, however, I am unable to determine if it is a modem issue or a Comcast issue . That is all that keeps the score from being a 5 star.

One inexpensive step to a gigantic leap to saving $$$ on cutting Comcast cord. Good piece of equipment!!!

This is a modem that we use for Comcast. It works, simple as that. The one shortcoming we experienced (and this is no fault of the device) is that Comcast won't allow us to use a static IP with the modem, it has to be a Comcast provided modem, other than that it worked as expected and was easy to setup and install.

Very easy to setup and connect to my router. Increased my speed from 15/1 to 30/12!

Reasonably priced and works great. Much better option than leasing one. Pays for itself in a few months.

I bought this to replace my previous Motorola modem, which also worked great, but we had outgrown it's capability.

Glad that BB carried it. With Time warner tech support it was easy to install and works well.

I purchased this along with an apple TV box and Airport Xtreme router. The entire package was a bit more than I expected to pay, but it's worth the money. The set up of all items was fairly simple and I enjoy it everyday. No more cable TV bills for me.

Mediacom botched the service installation. I ended up taking this product back when switching to U-verse
