I am very pleased with my purchase. I have had it for a few weeks now and it is working perfectly. Downloads seem fast and the setup was easy. I will definitely purchase another modem/router of this brand.

This is a great all-in-one modem and router. I have had great service with no interruptions or weak signals. My house is about 2,600 SF and I have a strong signal throughout. I recommend it highly.

Spectacular modem with good WiFi range. Replaced the carrier modem and speed increased by 35%. Easy setup and lots of Features. Like being able to throttle the guest channel and assign priorities.

We moved to a new house and our cable installer recommended this unit. Best Buy was the only store that had it in stock. It also saved money by not renting a router from the cable company.

So I live in Northern California and I have charter spectrum as my Internet cable provider. They want to force you to use one of their less than stellar modems, but I refuse. this modem by Motorola has latest and greatest technology and is super simple to set up and has lots of great features. A simple phone call to my ISP and the provision the modem and boom I am online. I like the fact that I can set up separate Internet connections for guests for my family I can also choose the speeds on the channels that I use for each.

I purchased this item and found it to be extremely easy to set up. Once it was set up it was performing excellent. Not only that I was able to save money with my isp in modem rental fees.

I purchased this device and had it up and running in a manner of minutes. The dual band of 2.4 GHz & 5.0 GHz allows the newer devices in my home to use the 5.0 GHz and the older models to still function by utilizing the 2.4 GHz. The admin port for setup is very user friendly. I originally purchased it to take advantage of my higher bandwidth I received in an ISP upgrade, but soon fell in love with it as a Wi-Fi device and turned off my Apple Time Capsule to use it as my sole Wi-Fi device in the home.

The 4-channel capability is reliable and FAST. Wireless range covers all 3 floors of the house.

- Relatively good coverage with WIFI AC speed in the house - Reduces cable clutters with cable modem and separate wifi router by combining into an all in one. - This is the only Cable Modem with WIFI AC on the market and it is definitely worth the upgrade from the previous motorola with WIFI N modem (Netgear is not out yet) - Very easy to setup and works great with Comcast Xfinity

For an all in one device this Motorola surfboard does a fantastic job. Wi-Fi reaches a great distance and the speed is awesome.

I've had this now for just over a month and the modem works flawlessly. I can pick up the signal from all corners of my house.

Before I bought this router, I was using a Linksys WGC200 cable gateway/router. I thought it was doing fine...until I decided to part ways with cable television and move my viewing to the Internet. I was constantly running into buffering issues. But with my Motorola Surfboard Extreme, I have no buffering issues, my download rates have almost tripled, and my gaming ping rates are through the roof. I would recommend this router to anyone who is a dedicated Internet gamer or streaming content viewer.

So my internet speed was about to be boosted by TWC so I decided to try out a new modem that would be able to handle the 200mbps download speeds. Out of all the Modem/Router combos I had looked at, this Motorola one had the best speed for the price range I was looking at. This modem/router combo has been a powerhouse since I got it. It handles all of my devices at the same time, (2 Xboxes, 3 cell phones, a tablet, a computer and a Chromecast) with no lag or hangups. I like the all white styling that Moto has gone with also. However, the overall size is a little bigger than what I would like it to be. I understand it has to hold in quite a bit of tech and also be able to run at a decent temperature but that is my only complaint. So overall, I do believe this is well worth the price as long as you have speeds that need it.

I am an avid gamer and recently moved into an apartment while I prepare to build my home. Rather than rent a slower outdated modem from the cable company for a premium price I researched cable modems and compared to what the cable company said they would provide. I am well satisfied with this cable modem as I have 3 daughters utilizing the wifi on it as well. It handles the load and security policies I set in place. The security setup could be made simpler and more user friendly for none router Savie consumers, and include group polices rather than each user. But it works exceptionally well for me.

super fast!! great wireless connection it have Dual-band concurrent 2.4GHz and 5GHz. one band for my appliance and the other band for my computers perfect!!

It was easy to set up even tho the cable company had to come set it up because my cable wires we're disconnected. Runs perfectly and no hiccups so far.

I owned this Motorola Surfboard for a month before I was brave enough to install it. I was particularly fearful of untethering my old router and modem since it would mean I had no options for "looking up stuff" on how to fix any problems. But, I gritted my teeth, got Comcast on the phone to get my service upgraded and opened the box. It was VERY EASY! When I told the Comcast guy which device I purchased, he yelped with glee. He said that this is a high end device that should last for 5-10 years and that I was his first customer to call in with one. I was able to upgrade to BLAST level and the speeds I achieve in my 3 bedroom, 2 story house are FAST! I had to call Motorola (number printed on a postcard in the box in about 200 pt. type) to get it setup with a new wi-fi name and password but he was really patient with me. I opted for the $30 "talk-through" setup and I'm glad I did. I do not understand a thing about the technical jargon, but there is a FREE setup program on the Motorola website that is quite user friendly for those who are more savvy. I highly recommend this unit for families with lots of wi-fi devices. IPads, phones, NetFlix, computers, etc. work like dream now. Glad I made the switch.

This router provides coverage for the whole house. I have 5 devices hooked to this router and it provides top notch service

I am loving t5he new cable modem/router. It has great area coverage and is very fast. Setting it up is pretty easy for newbies and experts alike and there are many advanced options as well if you like to tweak your gadgets. It is pricey but I still recommend it. If you can get it on sale do not hesitate.
