Was forced into making a change when my provider left our location. Didn't want to go under contract again, so thought I'd try the go-phone and pre-paid airtime as it was very reasonable. Surprisingly, the phone is very easy to use, has good features, is dependable and extremely easy to pre-load with having several options for that process. The text messages from AT&T verifying paid air-time and reminders to pre-load are of value. For the price of the phone, if it is dropped or lost or damaged, it won't cost hundreds of dollars to replace. The Best Buy insurance on it was very reasonable and worth the few dollars. Downside is if one works with camera/pics, extremely small to see. The letters on the phone for texting and dialing are also very small and would prefer them a little larger. Also, the phone is loaded with apps, some of which are free for 30 days then a monthly charge. I for one am not interested in those features, so it's a non-issue. (I accidently ordered Navigator, but was extremely easy to cancel before charges were applied.) This is a great phone for a beginner or someone older like myself who isn't interested in a smart phone and only needs it for basic phone calls and minimum texting. I've used blue-tooth with it and is nicely compatible. Battery charge will hold for several days, but I have always charged nightly, this is a non-issue. For the first few days it was auto dialing numbers, but I set the lock feature on it to resolve, another non-issue. The type of case I wanted isn't available, so I'm using an old Blackberry case which works beautifully. I would highly recommend the go-phone with the pre-load airtime process.

Convenient & easy to use for several reasons

When my cell phone company relocated their services to another area I was forced to make a change to a new cell phone provider. Because I didn't want to go under contract again I researched and chose AT&T Go Phone and use the $50.00/month air time/air card. This arrangement has proven to work out beautifully for me. The phone was inexpensive and has held up beyond belief. The card allows me to use it for voice and text according to the phone I chose. I purchase two cards at a time so I always have one in safekeeping in case I forget to make the purchase each month. It takes approx. one minute to transpose the numbers from the back of the card into the phone, and AT&T is very good about sending a text reminder that the "payment is due", and immediate confirmation after the transmittal. The numbers from the card to be transmitted can be placed into the system at anytime, not necessarily having to wait until "payment is due", at which time confirmation is also made immediately. The phone has a convenient number to quickly text that confirms the amount of money/air time currently in the account as well. AT&T also allows more than one month of payment to be made into the system simply by transmitting another number from the back of a different card that has been purchased; thus a separate transmittal, but all very quick. This is a good little arrangement for my needs and would recommend it to others.

I love the fact that I don't have a contract to worry about & also the fact that you don't loose any of the minutes as long as you keep adding moneys, however sometimes (not all the time) I cannot connect and have to contact customer service then all is great. This phone does not have a camera, but it does the job!

This is a good price for texts and talking. The only downside is that no matter what price card you buy, the value stays the same. For instance, some companies have a 600 minute card for $45, which drops the price per minute. Otherwise, it is still a low price and great value. Easy to find and purchase and load on the phone.

Good for what it is. Most inexpensive way to have a cell phone. Like how unused amounts roll over. Works for phone calls and texts only. Downside is you can't use it for data on a smart phone.

You must have a prepaid card for this phone. This was my first prepaid phone and it seemed to be a good value. So far I have been happy.

It is convenient to use these cards for refilling a phone when you don't want to keep a credit card on file. The new 911 add on fee (tax) surprised me but the Best Buy representative explained it.

    Great deal for Phone Card

I've had an AT&T Go Phone for years because I only use it as a secondary means for communication, this is in the Supermarket, to confirm a meeting to a person, etc. not really too often, but probably once or twice in a day. I've charged mostly the $15,- card which is only good for one month (unitil your credit expires). Over time I built up a lot of carry-over credit which, at a certain moment in time, becomes too much to consume within one month. Later I found out about the $25,- card which gives me a way better time frame of 90 days and consumption is stress-free. I recommend this Phone plan to anyone who wants and needs a cell phone in his pocket for once in a while and to be reached.

I think this is the best for teenagers! I use it for my teenage son because if he happens to get in trouble or anything else I'm not obligated to pay for the next month as I would be on a contract with At&t.

I really like using these refills for my Lumia 520 prepaid smart phone. $25 gets you 250 minutes and unlimited texts. And with AT&T prepaid, if you are near wifi, you can make full use of your smartphone.

This 25 dollar card is good for many different plans. We use it for the $2 per day only on the days you use it, and the card can last up to 90 days. Great for people who don't use the phone much

The At&t phone card is easy to load on my phone. I like it now that the taxes is taken out when you buy the card. At&t let you know when your money is applied to your phone. I have no problems so far. It's a good card to use.

I bought this to go with the Samsung for my 87 year old mom. They set it up wrong at the store, so it was only going to be used one month and then end. I called AT&T and they were great! The girl set it up for me so this 25$ card is good for 3 months, and you have 250 minutes of talk time. IF you renew a couple of days before the end of the three months, the minutes roll over! So in essence you have a cellphone for for $8 per month. Perfect for light users ( kids, elderly, emergencies only)
