Although I purchased my computer at the Williamsburg store, I required additional assistance setting it up at home and Sean went above and beyond in every way. He arrived right on time, explained everything with clarity and patience, and demonstrated an impressive level of technical knowledge. What really stood out was his kindness, professionalism, and genuine desire to help.
Sean made sure every question was answered and every issue resolved, all while maintaining a friendly and respectful attitude that immediately put me at ease. His partner, who accompanied him, was also excellent—together they made a fantastic team. Best Buy should be extremely proud to have employees like Sean and his partner. Sean's expertise, communication skills, and customer care are exactly what set the company apart. My Best Buy Total™ Membership Review
I’ve been using the My Best Buy Total membership for a while now, and I think it’s a solid option if you shop at Best Buy often or buy a lot of electronics.
What I like:
The extended return window is really helpful. You get 60 days to return most items, which gives you time to really test things out.
The 24/7 tech support is convenient. I’ve used it a couple of times for setup questions and minor issues, and the help was quick and easy.
You get two years of protection on most purchases, which includes accidental damage. That’s saved me money already on a broken pair of headphones.
Free shipping is fast and reliable, which is nice if you don’t live near a store.
What could be better:
It’s not cheap. At around $180 a year, you really need to use the benefits to make it worth it.
The exclusive deals are okay, but not amazing. Sometimes you’ll find better discounts elsewhere.
If you don’t buy electronics regularly, the membership probably isn’t worth it.
Overall:
If you’re someone who buys tech often and wants extra protection and support, this membership makes sense. But if you’re only shopping once or twice a year, you might be better off sticking with the free My Best Buy tier.

I can’t recommend the Total Tech Membership enough! It’s easily one of the best investments I’ve made. The peace of mind alone is worth every penny, knowing I can call or schedule help whenever I need it for any tech issue big or small. However, since having it, I feel like every purchase I make with my Best Buy Total membership is a deal. I’m always surprised with random discounts and I’m happy for it. While I’m generally a self-sufficient consumer and I am careful with my tech, it’s nice knowing that for the next year that I own this membership, I can count on Best Buy Geek Squad to work on something if I’m in a pinch for time with my own projects and work. The membership is a little bit pricy, but if you shop here plenty, you will get back what you paid in discounts.

I was very satisfied with my Total Tech membership. I thought is was a good thing to have when problems arise. Now I am not so sure. I was able to bring my laptop in to the GEEK SQUAD and they would help or fix the problem. Now my new laptop has only a 2 year free service and then there is a monthly charge. The Total membership seem to go up and the services that were included now have to be paid for. On the reccomendation of recommending Total memebership there should be a MAYBE to check off.

I am very happy that I paid for the Best Buy Total to have me new laptop set up by the Geek Squad. They copied everything I needed from my old laptop to the new one, making the transition very easy for me. When I needed help trying to load another program a few days after bringing it home, I easily made an appointment and got the help I needed. While it has been helpful so far, it cost much more than I was expecting because it is for a whole year. I do not anticipate needing help with the laptop again, as it is new. I would have liked an option to just pay to have the computer setup done without being obligated to purchase the whole "package".

I’ve waited to purchase a drone for years but finally got this one. When it first came I got a return with missing pieces but the store was super helpful in rectifying the error and two days later a new one came. The app is kind of trash like it was rushed with numerous simple spelling errors like cornected instead of connected cancle instead of cancel. Same with the manual, I have to go back to the store because after two hours of flight which was awesome to fly the camera gimble won’t recalibrate. Haven’t crashed or had hard landing so this sucks but still love having a drone. Only bought this one because bestbuy has zero drones with obstacle avoidance as an option. The front legs are longer than the rear which seems odd, why not have the rear the same length for LEVEL landing.

I've been a BB regular member for a few years now but I just recently upgraded my membership to the My Best Buy Total Membership, and I've been really pleased with the value that it offers. I've saved money on extended warranties, and free 2-day shipping. I've also taken advantage of member-only deals and early access to new products.
In this review, I'm going to share my experience with My Best Buy Total and discuss whether or not it's worth the cost. I'll also provide some tips on how to get the most out of your membership.
