Good Phone but difficult to upgrade OS
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought for my wife because she wanted phone with physical keyboard. It's a good quality phone that runs some Android Apps in addition to Blackberry apps. However, it is somewhat difficult to update the operating system (which you should do!). The "over the air" upgrade (standard upgrade process) fails due to lack of memory. However, you can upgrade the phone if you connect it to your PC and run an upgrade through one of the standard Blackberry apps you install on your PC. Once upgraded it is actually a very nice phone. While it does run some Android apps, it seems unable to run Android apps that require knowledge of the user's location (I suspect this is a security control; but, not certain). My wife liked the phone; but, since it would not run several of the Android apps she had gotten used to on her existing Android phone, she no longer uses it. I am hopeful that in future OS updates, Blackberry will address this issue so that the phone can run all android apps. If that happens, it would be a very good phone especially since unlike most Android phones, you can upgrade the OS without replacing the phone.

its a blackberry
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.OK so it's a blackberry so ya have qwerty keyboard, it has a 3in touch screen.. so facebook Pandora text and all that's amazing, and uses the amazon market so limited apps in the first place then take account of screen size and function limits ya even more. GPS must have clear view of sky.. now for the pros light weight nice color, and ease of use... cons load time when starting. Settings can be difficult especially if one uses straight talk or net 10... all and all ya get what ya pay for

Good phone
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. As many flaws as BlackBerry phones has these days, for its price this cell phone is a good deal. Emails work perfect, lightning fast. Keyboard is a little noisy and isn't as good as in old Blackberries. Also because there's no battery hatch phone feels more solid. The red color is nice. Reboot is extremely slow. This operating system isn't perfect but again, for its price the phone is worth buying.
