Piece of junk. I tried it out for a few weeks trying to figure out how to make it work without getting stuck and charging. Decided it was junk and planned to return it ..... Nope, it has been 16 days from purchase and best buy wouldn't return it. It is never connected to the app which means you can't program or have it clean when you aren't home It turns off randomly around the house It doesn't return to it's base when the battery is low It doesn't map your house. Not worth the price

This is my second BObsweep and I love it! The only reason I got a new one is because the first Bob didn’t connect to WiFi . I have a cat and two dogs and it does a great job. My home is 4500 ft.² with hard wood floors and some tile with rugs. It goes over the thick and thin rugs with no issues and does a great job cleaning. I am always amazed at what it picks up and I run it every day. It charges at night and is able to go thru my entire home without needing to be charged before it gets done. It always finds the base when it does need charging. I’m not sure why other people have issues with that, because no matter where it is in the house it will always go the base. It is not perfect, I still have to use the regular vacuum to get in small places it can’t fit and I use a Swiffer under places it can’t get under and around some base boards. You do have to be sure and pick up large objects. If you have a lot of clutter on the floor, it’s not going to work as well. It does get stuck every now and then and needs help getting out. Overall, I am very pleased with the job it does.

I've been using the device for less than a month so it's still very new. I've had to reach out to customer service about a question I couldn't find an answer to online (software update related). They were quick to respond and gave me the correct fix immediately. Overall I'm happy with Bob and impressed with the results when compared to an old Hoover robot vacuum. One feature I was looking for specifically was the replacement battery. The Hoover's was built in so when the battery bit the dust, the entire unit was worthless. That won't be an issue with Bob so I'm hoping to get extended use. The unit has been running great, it's quiet, and connects to Alexa easily. Two thumbs up!

Quality of performance has clearly diminished in a short amount of time. I bought this 4 months ago and while things started out great I become less impressed by the day. Initially, it brought me unreasonable joy to watch the vacuum - we named him Carl - zip under my couch and back out. "Oh, did Carl just boop a wall and turn around? Precious. Did Carl vacuum up all he could and stop in the middle of the floor because his canister is full? Well, done, Carl." It was easy to get excited about the cool robot vacuum. I was so enchanted I didn't even care that it never connected to wifi and has never been able to map my house. When Carl runs, despite having no logical map or pattern, he does collect a good amount of pet hair and other small refuse. However, he's is really finicky about charging only when aligned very specifically on the charging prongs; as of late the vacuum never seems to have enough battery to even run through a room in my small home. Nowadays this is a waste of space on my floor, as he never charges adequately enough to actually function. Glad I picked this up as a deal of the day. Definitely not worth full price and arguably not worth the sale price either.

Appears to do a good job. I live in a large home and I have had to put two units to work to cover the whole house in one charge. Overall pleased and would recommend to others.

We love Bob. I have 3 Visions and have had 2 Pethair Plus's. The vision is a huge upgrade. The battery lasts more than 90 minutes, the profile is smaller so it fits under all furniture, the app and Alexa integration make it simple to use. I've tried many of the different robots and this is by far the best one.

Got this in preparation for the new puppy we were expecting. It works very well cleaning our carpet unattended while we tend to our new puppy. Its even fun to watch as it navigates well around our furniture. And goes back on its own to recharge when it's battery gets low after cleaning for about 90 minutes.

We are really amazed at how much pet hair this vacuum picks up. We have had other, similar sweepers in the past and the battery lasts much longer than the others we have had. The app work on my iPhone but had some initial issues with my husband’s android. Since we first purchased, the app has been updated and works fine for his phone model. We are able to set it up on a program mode and it sweeps when we have it programmed to do so. I do not have reservations in recommending. Comes with an extra brush and more than one extra filter.

I only have 3 months of having it and it can no longer charge

Wanted to love it but often found it dead in the corner or other strange spot. Unit was suppose to return to base when battery was low but didn't. Speaking of the base, when the unit was seeking to return it often became confused as how to get there and took longer to dock than it exactly cleaned the floor.

Bought the device and was so excited, but has not lived up to the expectations. 1. It says you can plot the map of the rooms and floors and say where to vacuum, but can't even log in to the app. The app is horrible. If I can't login, how am I going to use it and what does the Wifi connected mean at all. 2. The battery is horrible, it drains very quickly and can't even do one room. 3. I have left it in charging for 5 days and even then the battery is not full.

Worked ok for a couple of months. Then is decided to die. Will only charge enuf to move about ten feet. Cannot return to charger.

I was really looking forward to this. I have new flooring and this would help keep it clean but it wouldn't work. I read all the reviews and most were favorable so I may have just gotten a lemon but I decided to return not exchange and will look for another brand. It would go for about a minute then give a dust bin error which you were supposed to removed the dust bin (which was empty cuz it had barely gone) clean the contacts and replace. I would do this and it wouldn't go even a second before giving the same message. It would only erase the message when I shut down completely but would then do the same thing. It spent the time not working on the charger. I tried to update it and it kept saying to put on the charger, which it already was. Once it started going it didn't show anything on the map so I thought it must be updating but after about 5 mins it said that it needed to be charged as the battery was dead and to not use again til fully charged. It was after a week of this that I decided to return and will look at another brand.

Ok it’s a pet hair robot vacuum. We have two dogs and a cat and we run it daily. The truth is it works and it learns the room layouts. When the battery runs down it docks itself and after the charge goes out for more. We love it.

Love my new “Bob!” I press start on my phone and go in the other room and let him do his job. I have a large living room so he had to go back home to charge up. Otherwise it does great touch ups between my cleaning lady visits.

Design looks nice but was really ineffective compared to other models. We would come home to see the power drained and sitting on the middle of the room.

I was so excited to receive this vacuum, but it has failed miserably. I have hardwood floors and he just goes back and forth a couple of times, and then dies in the middle of the floor. This was a huge waste of money. Don't buy this!

Does not clean well... the battery runs out fast everytime

I have had Bob for almost 4 months. At first I thought there was something wrong with it because it wouldn't connect to wifi. I contacted customer service and they gave me new directions that fixed the problem. I have a golden and 3 kids. I use Bob daily or every other day. Suction is great and picks everything up. Battery lasts quite long. After 3 months something went wrong with a wheel motor. Customer service sent me 2 new wheels at no cost! Customer service has been 5 stars hands down. The cons of the actual vaccuum are that it does map where it has gone, but doesn't memorize the house layout. Also, our carpet is a thick frieze and he often thinks his brush is stuck when it isn't(he works fantastic on our hardwood, which is the majority of the space). Once he stops the mapping restarts so then he doesn't know where he has already vaccuumed. I like the app mapping feature that shows where he has cleaned and also if he has stopped. You can remotely start and stop him or send him to charge with the app! I missed him a lot when I was waiting for the new wheels!
