Worth it in my opinion
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I’ve had this for a few days now and so far it’s amazing. A few little things here and there that are slightly annoying but not at all a deal breaker. Set up wasn’t very informative. Attaching everything was fine but I got stuck on getting it to connect to my wifi. This is because it won’t connect to a 5g network and only a 2.4g. It does say this but it’s easy to miss and as far as I saw, it only says this in one place and after it has failed to connect. But once I switched it’s network settings it connect with zero issue. I was really surprised at how quiet it is. You can definitely hear it but you can also carry a normal conversation without it being distracting. It also handles going from linoleum to carpet like a champ. I was a bit afraid since I live in an apartment that has a carpeted main area but linoleum kitchen that kinda share the same space. But bOb handled it without any issues (we call him Kirby because he gobbles everything up.) It cleans very well too. It doesn’t do to well with larger items like candy wrapper but it will either just spit it out and spin around a few times make spines then fall out. I will say I don’t have a very large space and it does just kinda clean and clean until it thinks it’s going to die before docking. This is a bit annoying because it will clean the same place multiple times over the course of about 90 minutes. But I have it set up on my google home system so google tells it to stop cleaning and dock after about 45 min and it does it. I’ve only had one issue where it stopped because it either got lost or though it got stuck when it wasn’t, but he kinda found his way into our laundry pile. You can either buy a “blocker” which is a device that connects to your wife and tells it no to go certain places, or in my case just put a box in our doorway while it cleans. You MUST keep cables off the floor, it WILL pick them up and it WILL get tangled. This was my fault cause I wanted to test it and purposely placed a phone cable in front of it. It wasn’t hard to un tangle, I just had to pull on the cable but it’s worth noting. Considering what it does I’m pretty impressed. Only 4 stars though because of the few little annoyances and having to schedule it docking in addition to cleaning. But other than that, this is a solid product!

Still Needs Some Research and Development
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had high hopes for this product. I had been eyeing various models and finally decided on this one. We have a German Shepard so the pet hair can be something serious. This vacuum did an okay job of picking up hair and debris. The problem was the device being smart enough to go down the hallways, which is where the majority of the hair resides. The product has an interesting map feature that shows where the device has cleaned. It needs to take that a step further where certain boundaries can be identified and set a zone for the device to cover. I would recommend if you are in a small apartment where the layout if not complicated.

Bobinator
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We have only used Bob a few times so far but he is working great. I am surprised by how much he picks up for how little noise he makes. I really expected this vacuum to be louder than it is. We have a husky so he definitely gets a challenge. So far the only negative is that he fell down the stairs once. I was watching when it happened. The first time we used him, he vacuumed up to the edge and then backed up each time after approaching. The safety feature appears to work by gyroscope; he doesn't back away until he starts to tip over the edge. The second time he was vacuuming by the stairs, he decided to try to turn while very close to the edge. During the turn is when he fell. He was lucky in that he only fell down two or three steps and then he stopped. I like that he can go under one of our sofas (the other one doesn't have any clearance). The only tangling issue so far is with the laces on some winter boots. Have to keep shoe laces out of the way.

bOb is my bestie!
||Posted . Owned for 6 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My bObsweep PetHair Vision is a special guy in my life! We have a German Shepard that snows daily in the house but our bOb keeps the floors looking so much better! He even gets along the baseboards/deeper corners where piles get blown with routine traffic. One issue is that he gets caught under specific pieces of furniture so I have to go pull him out or block those areas...this is NOT a deal-breaker for sure. Another issue is that he does seem to get lost at times and not able to make it back to charging base consistently. I admit that the base is not located in an area that gives bOb as much free space as he likely needs to find his home without encountering some obstacles. The app allows me to put him to work wherever I may be AND tells me if he gets in trouble. I go looking for him and easily remedy whatever the problem is. I got a great deal on my bestie bOb just after Christmas and am thrilled with my purchase!

Good buy not Great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have two dogs and I finally decided that I needed to add a smart robot vacuum to home. Bob is very easy to put together but setup took me longer than it should have because bob only connects with 2.4ghz wireless signals and you have to pair using an existing device. Well all of my devices are 5ghz so it did take some research to find a workaround but I did. Bob is very good at cleaning up the house but he is little taller than I thought so doesn't fit under everything and has gotten stuck a few times under the couch. When BOB doesn't get stuck he does a great job cleaning and mopping (if you have then accessory bundle) but he isn't very smart when it comes to finding his way back to the base. Almost every time he runs I have to pick him up and bring him back to the charging base which is easy but not something I thought I would have to do. Included in the accessory bundle also was no go strip, a like 4 foot long cord basically that you lay on the floor where you dont want Bob to go. Unfortunately its not long enough and you only get one so if you have multiple areas you dont want him then you will have to have those all around your house. I trip over it all the time and then it does no good at keeping BOB out. Overall BOB does a good job cleaning but I have to do a lot of prep work before each use.

Thorough and Fits in Tight Spaces
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We've had Bob for a couple weeks now and he's definitely helping us in the ways we had hoped. Really easy to setup, especially in comparison to the original bobSweep PetHair. Initially, he had some issues with doing a full cycle as he'd stop with a main brush error. Not sure if an update came out or if he just got used to being a vacuum, but now he's running a full cycle and vacuuming our entire main floor. My only wishes are that he'd save his cleaning area so he can learn the best route and that he didn't struggle so much with getting back to his dock. Otherwise, such a worthwhile investment if you can get him at a good price.

Gets stuck, lost and loses Wi-Fi
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I had this vacuum for almost 2 weeks and I had to return it yesterday. It cleaned well when it worked, but it always managed to get stuck, get lost going back home and it seemed to lose Wi-fi connectivity a few times a week. I'd get home and there it was in the middle of the living room stuck, with the brush spinning. I have no rug, no stairs or hard obstacles for it to get stuck. My house has either laminate flooring or vinyl planks so it's pretty east to get around. I had a DeeBot for a little over a year and that was AMAZING. I just got tired of having to constantly troubleshoot the thing so I decided to return it. Like I said, when it works as it should it cleans well. It doesn't come with a control and the App is pretty much useless.

Better than my doing the vacuuming but not perfect
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I wanted to put this thru its paces before I said anything. I have 2 big fuzzy dogs, and I hate to vacuum. On the good side, it does the vacuuming and picks up a lot of dust and dog hair. It also makes me more aware of what is left on the floor. It has found every wire or cable on the floor, and every dog toy, and tried to sweep them up. It also does try to fit into spaces that are too low, and gets jammed. One of my area rugs has fringe it tends to get caught on, the other is no problem. It gets into all my rooms except for one bathroom that has a higher threshold on the doorway, it sometimes hangs up on it. Overall the benefits out way the issues, because I do not have to do the work, but I do have to rescue him more often than I expected. I bought this on sale, if I had paid list price I would be unhappy.

Ok
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So far so good. The vacuum works really well as it picks up much of the dog hair in the house. We haven’t had any issues other than the fact that the home mapping feature does not seem to work well. The vacuum doesn’t find itself home most times. Although, I have issues with the home mapping this vacuum works a lot better than others I have tried and returned. Not the best vacuum but not the worst by far.

So far so good.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It works good. I was very skeptical. I researched them and then when this one came up on bb dod I jumped on it. So far I’m very happy w it. I mean it’s a robo vac. So it does get stuck every once in a while.it does have problems w edges and throw rugs sometimes. I have a dog and it somehow manages the dog hair w/out getting full real fast.I would say for 200$ absolutely buy it. But 700-900$ ?? No way.

Junky
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Piece of junk. I tried it out for a few weeks trying to figure out how to make it work without getting stuck and charging. Decided it was junk and planned to return it ..... Nope, it has been 16 days from purchase and best buy wouldn't return it. It is never connected to the app which means you can't program or have it clean when you aren't home It turns off randomly around the house It doesn't return to it's base when the battery is low It doesn't map your house. Not worth the price

I don’t know... it’s really not that great
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bob seems pretty unintelligent. Runs into the same walls over and over, constantly needs intervention and parental guidance. I don’t think I would recommend him to a friend :/. I almost want my mo way back but instead I just do one room at a time. Stick him in a corner and push the play button then once that room is done, pick him up and move him to another room do the same thing again. It’s annoying but it’s slightly better than vacuuming. I only paid ~ $280 for bob and he was originally like $900.. even at that deal, I wouldn’t recommend. Maybe I am doing something wrong... but our floor plan is super simple and we move everything out of his way including a chairs, rugs, etc. yet he still gets lost and confused. :/ very disappointing. I expected an intelligent machine and I am let down.

Bobsweep Pet hair vision
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Definitely picks up pet hair! I've found that it goes over the same area multiple times and sometimes misses others. Sometimes I will pause it, pick it up, and move it to another part of the house. Fits under my sofa and chair too - the first time that's been cleaned in who knows how long! I got it on sale, so for me, it was a great value

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Cleans really well. Cant seem to get back to charging station. I just push a button to start it and it goes everywhere to clean. Generally climbs on to the rugs to continue to clean. Has gotten caught on a corner of a rug. I am happy with it.

Perfect for pets

However, the robot itself works very well. Once in awhile it will get lost in a large space but otherwise I highly recommend

Not for me
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I would recommend this vacuum to a friend if they did not have a lot of furniture, their furniture did not have legs that extended past vertical, and they did not have lightweight rugs. This vacuum does not out preform an old Kirby (but I haven't found a new vacuum that does). It does however pickup hair well (if you or you pet have long hair be prepared to pull it out of the brush often like other vacuums but with the advantage of Bob telling you it is clogged so as not to burn the motor). The main draw backs of this model for me is not being able to 'drive' it or teach it a path to follow via the app (some of the remote controlled Bob's can be driven from my understanding) and cleaning the filter after each use is a pain. I have seating with chairs set at angles which can confuse Bob when trying to find a way around while staying on his grid pattern but other times he is fine and handles the obstacle like a champ (he can also miss entries into whole rooms). I also have furniture with queen anne style legs which Bob has a tendency of bumping into hard or trying to run over (he mounts them and the base of floor lamps and drives over them with one wheel on the floor and the rest in the air). Because of this I am afraid of scratching. Finally he is about 50/50 on being able to master lightweight area rugs depending on the angle and location he tries to approach it. All of this results in me following him around in many areas which defeats the set it and forget idea and would make a traditional vacuum much faster. These issues would be easily solved if it was possible to program the layout you wanted him to follow or at least let you 'drive' him while doing something else.

Has to be baby sat, loses its way.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This thing works fairly well as a vacuum. It fills the dust bin pretty well but it misses areas. I have two rooms of carpet and the rest is vinyl plank with 2 area rugs. It seems to build a map every time it runs and gets itself off-track each time. Relocating the machine has helped some but its not good enough. The map on the phone doesn't match where it is quite often and gets worse the longer the machine runs. One time when my iPhone decided to download a new version of the app, the robot quit. It seems to be totally dependent on the app. I reopened the app and the robot started again but the map of where it had cleaned was gone. The disappearing map has happened at least one other time. After 4-5 runs it has yet to stop cleaning and find the charging station on it s own. Its gets lost and I have to pick it up and move it to about 5 feet from the charging station, then it finds it. You can't make it do specific areas. The app allows preset cleaning times but only at 10:00AM on whatever days you choose. Thankfully I did not pay full price for this thing. I'll keep using it but I can't leave it on its own. The app, the robot and its programming need a lot more work. Do not pay full-price for this!

Disappointed. Expected Vision Plus.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. You can only connect 4g network, and it takes a while to setup . It has trouble maneuvering around the furniture and goes over the same area multiple times. I usually have to pick it up and move it to an open area. The suction is good and does pick up pet hair and dust adequately. Does not have mop attachment. Wish I had purchased the Vision plus instead.
