I’ve had this for a few days now and so far it’s amazing. A few little things here and there that are slightly annoying but not at all a deal breaker. Set up wasn’t very informative. Attaching everything was fine but I got stuck on getting it to connect to my wifi. This is because it won’t connect to a 5g network and only a 2.4g. It does say this but it’s easy to miss and as far as I saw, it only says this in one place and after it has failed to connect. But once I switched it’s network settings it connect with zero issue. I was really surprised at how quiet it is. You can definitely hear it but you can also carry a normal conversation without it being distracting. It also handles going from linoleum to carpet like a champ. I was a bit afraid since I live in an apartment that has a carpeted main area but linoleum kitchen that kinda share the same space. But bOb handled it without any issues (we call him Kirby because he gobbles everything up.) It cleans very well too. It doesn’t do to well with larger items like candy wrapper but it will either just spit it out and spin around a few times make spines then fall out. I will say I don’t have a very large space and it does just kinda clean and clean until it thinks it’s going to die before docking. This is a bit annoying because it will clean the same place multiple times over the course of about 90 minutes. But I have it set up on my google home system so google tells it to stop cleaning and dock after about 45 min and it does it. I’ve only had one issue where it stopped because it either got lost or though it got stuck when it wasn’t, but he kinda found his way into our laundry pile. You can either buy a “blocker” which is a device that connects to your wife and tells it no to go certain places, or in my case just put a box in our doorway while it cleans. You MUST keep cables off the floor, it WILL pick them up and it WILL get tangled. This was my fault cause I wanted to test it and purposely placed a phone cable in front of it. It wasn’t hard to un tangle, I just had to pull on the cable but it’s worth noting. Considering what it does I’m pretty impressed. Only 4 stars though because of the few little annoyances and having to schedule it docking in addition to cleaning. But other than that, this is a solid product!

This is Bob, this is the floor Bob sweep. Watch all your friends and family stare at Bob with envy. Bob will satify all your (cleaning) needs. Bob will tirelessly work to please you. Bob needs very little attention in return to stay strong and focused. Bob even plays well with the little furry ones. All joking aside, I own 2 BobSweep vacs and 2 ecovac deebots. I used to Love my deebots, but once i upgraded to WiFi 6 they became nearlt useless as they cannot pair with app anymore. Bob also had this issue, except the pet hair vision version has a camera, and the app allowes you to pair via QR code using the camera!!!! Freaking awesome fore thought ppl!! He sweeps amazingly, is no too loud. I love the lieel bugger. My pets love it too, they cats torment my vacuums tirelessly. But Bob is patient and does not eat them, just keeps working. I recommend Bob.

I got this Bob for my upstairs rooms. I already have a bobsweep vacuum for my living room and gwtting this was an upgrade to my old one. I love how convenient this little gadget it, helps with getting the floor done - carpet and tiles. I love the feature that you can control this via phone, I can have the rooms vacuumed even before I get home. I love that when it vacuums it is not as loud. This is a must robot vacuum to have at home.

We have a larger house, 2 cats and 2 kids. I have had two robots before, one was an older bobsweep (my first), and one is from another brand that I bought after my original Bob retired in 2018 (he served dutifully for 4 years). I wanted a robot with an APP so I didn't get a Bobsweep as at that time they didn't have a model with APP. I later regretted my decision, because my original Bobsweep had so much more suction, which would make a visible difference on carpet. We gave our other robot to my aunt who lives by herself and has only hardwood and we bought this new Bobsweep through a promotion the company was having for Black Friday last year, at only $300. Such a great decision! This model has even more suction, is quieter AND has an App (the app was glitchy at first and would disconnect from the wifi often, but there have been a few updates since and it's perfect now). But what made me write this review is that throughout the many years the company has been great when we needed them: our old Bob went for a repair once, and came back like new, with an amazing note and a bag of chocolate, all at no charge. They are courteous, prompt, and generous. We have had a great experience every time we contacted them.

We have only used Bob a few times so far but he is working great. I am surprised by how much he picks up for how little noise he makes. I really expected this vacuum to be louder than it is. We have a husky so he definitely gets a challenge. So far the only negative is that he fell down the stairs once. I was watching when it happened. The first time we used him, he vacuumed up to the edge and then backed up each time after approaching. The safety feature appears to work by gyroscope; he doesn't back away until he starts to tip over the edge. The second time he was vacuuming by the stairs, he decided to try to turn while very close to the edge. During the turn is when he fell. He was lucky in that he only fell down two or three steps and then he stopped. I like that he can go under one of our sofas (the other one doesn't have any clearance). The only tangling issue so far is with the laces on some winter boots. Have to keep shoe laces out of the way.

I have to manage all aspects of housework and with everything that’s going around I decided to reward myself with a robot vacuum, and boy am I glad I did. Every evening when I take my kids out for a walk, Bobby as I call it picks up every bit of hair and mess from floors, under the tables, cabinets, beds and I can track it on my cellphone while it cleans. It’s thin and fits well under our furniture, and not too noisy so the cats are not disturbed like they usually are when I vacuum.

Works great and is fairly quiet. It sets a pattern and it’s nice watching the surface area that’s shown on the app. Once in a while it’ll get stuck under a piece of furniture and after a while you forget about it and then have to go find it.

I have tried three different budget smart vacuums. This did a fair job. It cleaned the floor, which is really its main purpose. It didn’t do a great job on the carpets, especially with dog hair but it did do well with crumbs and normal debris on the hardwood floors. It had the hardest time docking. I don’t think it ever docked on its own, I had to manually re-dock. My favorite thing about it was how quiet it was!! But overall, I just wasn’t impressed with how muchy money it is for the performance. It was since been returned and replaced with a Roomba 675, which docks in its own and has a super easy app.

We bought our Bob 11/15/20 thru a Best Buy Deal of the Day, and have had trouble getting it WiFi connected. Finally, with some time off due to the ice storm, I called Customer Service (02/19/21) and Gabe helped me. Initially the set-up procedure failed. We uninstalled and re-installed the app. Failed again Gabe sent me a video. I uninstalled and re-installed the app once more and we finally got it online and connected using the QR Code method. I tested it out and it works great. We moved our iRobot upstairs because we felt the BobSweep was doing a better job downstairs. We have two dogs, and the amount of hair they shed every day is amazing. "TheBob" seems to pick up a larger quantity of hair, is quieter, and has 2 brushes (compared to only one for the iRobot version we have). Also, TheBob does not get trapped beneath our kitchen cabinets! And, TheBob seems more intelligent as you can see it actually going back and forth is nice straight lines. To contrast, our iRobot seems to randomly travel around the house. TheBob also settles onto the charger much easier and actually charges without us having to think about it. Our iRobot has a tough time parking itself. First, the iRobot has to randomly travel to a spot within about 3 feet of the charger, then it attempts to park. Most of the time I need to remove the dust bin from the iRobot to get it in just the right balance so it will charge. Not so with TheBob. TheBob seems to know where his home is, can find it easily, parks easily, and charges without my intervention! We are very pleased with TheBob. If it had been easier to connect Bob at the very beginning I would probably give it a 5 star.

This is my first robot vacuum. I always wanted one but we have carpet in the bedrooms and I’d heard these have a reputation not to work on carpet. Recently my husband came across a FB ad from this company advertising a great deal for Mother’s Day and we thought to give it a shot. To my surprise this works perfectly on both our hardwood and our carpet! it even sucks more hair out of carpet than our upright does. It’s also not nearly as loud. The only problem is that long hair gets wrapped around the roller brush and we have to clean it often :/

I've been using the device for less than a month so it's still very new. I've had to reach out to customer service about a question I couldn't find an answer to online (software update related). They were quick to respond and gave me the correct fix immediately. Overall I'm happy with Bob and impressed with the results when compared to an old Hoover robot vacuum. One feature I was looking for specifically was the replacement battery. The Hoover's was built in so when the battery bit the dust, the entire unit was worthless. That won't be an issue with Bob so I'm hoping to get extended use. The unit has been running great, it's quiet, and connects to Alexa easily. Two thumbs up!

Bob is much quieter than the old iRobot we used him to replace, and he cleans well. He gets around good, and his brushes reach much further. He is good about making direct U-turns to ensure that he is covering the floor in a methodical pattern. We have one dog and three cats, and his pet hair collecting has not disappointed. However, we do have to manage him a bit to make sure he makes it back to the docking station for battery charging but that may be because we haven't figured out the app in full yet. We also have a large house, so that is to be expected. We don't mind this minor amount of management. It's so much easier than having to vacuum everywhere all the time!

I already own (and love) a different bObsweep vacuum, so I was really excited to try this “upgraded” one! This Bob is seriously the quietest robot vacuum ever - when we first tried him out, I couldn’t even tell he was in “vacuum mode” because he was so quiet! He does a crazy-good job getting in every corner and covering every inch of my home. I love how he seamlessly navigates between wood floors, rugs, and carpet with no issues. Also, the bObsweep app has changed the vacuum game! It’s so cool to be able to use Bob from my phone. I highly recommend purchasing any bObsweep product, especially the PetHair Vision Robot Vacuum. It’s worth every penny - you will not regret this purchase!

I love Bob, especially for his ability to pick up my cat's fur. Pro: great at picking up cat fur, scheduling sessions is easy, quiet and gentle when bumping into furniture, docks reliably Con: poor at picking up cat litter or other small crumbs, mapping is poor and requires Bob to repeat areas already completed. Instruction book is woefully inadequate, and finding help online is scattered all over the Bob website. Adequate: Sometimes loses WiFi connection, takes almost 12 hours to recharge fully. Dustbin has lots of nooks and crannies, making emptying harder than it should be Wishlist: Android app is easy to use, but enhancements like battery status would be nice. App should retain map after completion for later review.

The Bob sweep is so much quieter than iRobot, and it actually does find its way back to you the charging station, unlike the iRobot and is much easier to clean.

This is a nice machine. It's quiet and moves about with out banning about"to much" That said. If you have an open floor plan any of these bots will struggle.

works as expected for a home with two dogs, not loud and hasn't got stuck yet............bought on sale and well worth the price

I really like the fact that it’s very thorough. Easy to empty and minimal noise. Love it!
