Piece of junk. I tried it out for a few weeks trying to figure out how to make it work without getting stuck and charging. Decided it was junk and planned to return it ..... Nope, it has been 16 days from purchase and best buy wouldn't return it. It is never connected to the app which means you can't program or have it clean when you aren't home It turns off randomly around the house It doesn't return to it's base when the battery is low It doesn't map your house. Not worth the price

Bob and I have not gotten along since I connected him to WiFi and his first sweep. Even though I got him for a third of the actual price at bestbuy I still don't think the value is even close. We have a 2500sqft first floor which is mostly hard wood with some scattered rugs here and there. We bought this because we thought it would be a good way to keep up on the dog fur from our two chows. It probably would have worked if bOb were just a tad smarter and could stop getting stuck and ripping the ears off of the dog toys or getting stuck under the furniture. I actually felt bad for the little guy at points. I am working from home but can hear him banging around under the chairs unable to figure out how to get out. Or I would hear him jam under something and start straining his motors and then beep loudly to let me know he is having issues. Actually couldn't find him once but knew he was in trouble somewhere. Also, he has a lot of trouble finding home. I have yet to see him actually make so end up carrying him over every time before the battery dies completely and he is stuck in some dark corner of the house. He was in the hallway behind my office door and the battery became low so he wanted to go to the charger. I heard him banging around a bit in the hall and then finally made it into my room for a little more banging around under chairs but eventually made it out the other side. This was a good thing until he went the complete opposite way from the charge point. Next thing I hear is bobby banging around under the kitchen island chairs again. At this point I couldn't take it anymore. Started calling him Bobby in an English accent (because it just sounds funny). Yelling at him "Oh Bobby....just go home" . Bobby appeared to be lost so I again helped him back and put him on the charger. At which point he backed out and started going toward the chairs again. There is definitely something wrong with BoBby. So we had a falling out and he is back in the box and going back to Bestbuy. I'm convinced that bobby is the reason robots have not taken over the planet!

This thing is horrible. It worked okay for maybe a day? Now it's louder than my non-robot vacuum when it runs. It's constantly slamming into walls and desperate to get up onto the shag carpet, where it gets stuck, EVEN THOUGH I have those bot-boundary magnetic strips set up (ugly), it will just slam itself into the strips until it can jump over it. The vacuum is huge and heavy to accommodate a giant camera that apparently does nothing. I have no idea how this vacuum learns a space or does anything. I also have to keep resetting the connection to wi-fi and my Google Home because!! I don't even remember!! It will just lose the connection any time something goes wrong. It's IMPOSSIBLE to reconnect to the dock manually if the robot dies while it's out and about. It's truly so hard and I have had to do it no less than 20 times in the last 3 weeks. Since BB only has a two week return window, I am stuck with this huge piece of junk, since I kept HOPING it would magically learn my apartment and start working.

Does not go back to the charger, does not map like stated. Very disappointing vacuum, went and bought a generic non-brand one does a much better job than this thing. I have to find the vacuum every single time to bring back to charger. DO Not Buy!

Could not get it to connect to WiFi. Many returns on this same item

Bought the device and was so excited, but has not lived up to the expectations. 1. It says you can plot the map of the rooms and floors and say where to vacuum, but can't even log in to the app. The app is horrible. If I can't login, how am I going to use it and what does the Wifi connected mean at all. 2. The battery is horrible, it drains very quickly and can't even do one room. 3. I have left it in charging for 5 days and even then the battery is not full.

Been about a week using this vacuum. This should not be sold as a intelligent robot vacuum. Not once it has completed even half the job without getting lost. It is not capable of charting the living space. Gets stuck in corners or keeps endlessly roaming around islands or tables. The best of all, cannot find the charging starting 10' away.

It won't connect to the wifi. And it won't clean my whole house floors. I'm very disappointed.

Our BObsweep is constantly getting stuck. Never returns to dock. Never maps route. I have to bob proof my living room because this BObsweep gets stuck on everything. I spend more time setting up my space to be vacuumed then if I vacuumed myself. We have finally decided to by a Roomba after countless attempts to make our BObsweep work.

I was really looking forward to this. I have new flooring and this would help keep it clean but it wouldn't work. I read all the reviews and most were favorable so I may have just gotten a lemon but I decided to return not exchange and will look for another brand. It would go for about a minute then give a dust bin error which you were supposed to removed the dust bin (which was empty cuz it had barely gone) clean the contacts and replace. I would do this and it wouldn't go even a second before giving the same message. It would only erase the message when I shut down completely but would then do the same thing. It spent the time not working on the charger. I tried to update it and it kept saying to put on the charger, which it already was. Once it started going it didn't show anything on the map so I thought it must be updating but after about 5 mins it said that it needed to be charged as the battery was dead and to not use again til fully charged. It was after a week of this that I decided to return and will look at another brand.

I really wanted to like this and tried over and over to make things work but ultimately I was so frustrated and it wasn’t worth the energy. I returned it and spent a few more $ on a more well known brand and am SO MUCH happier. Our BobSweep would disconnect from our WiFi constantly, would not charge after docking, and would often die before returning to its base. I can’t believe how much the retail price is on this when the other name brand vacuum bots work so much better for us and are actually much cheaper than this model. We only purchased it because it was on sale for $200 and it wasn’t even worth that to us. I normally don’t write such negative reviews but I struggled for weeks to get this to work for us and it just wouldn’t. I’m glad it works for others.

Terrible. Bought two because the first one wouldn’t connect to WiFi, the second one doesn’t either so it never learns my home and rams everything when in use. Now I have two units that aren’t worth using at all.

I really liked Bob ... for the first couple of weeks. It picked up well, ran in lines, and eventually could see the obstacles in front of it and barely bumped into things or got stuck! Then it suddenly stopped docking itself. And when I would set it on the dock, it would be difficult to get it into charge mode. It would either sit there and just not charge. Or it would charge for a little bit and then begin running again when I don't want/need it to.

This is the worst robot vacuum. It makes an ominous sound while charging so I asked for a replacement but they charged me for mailing, and now it makes a squiggle sound while vacuuming that I can't stand no more.

One of the brushes stopped working within 10 days. I was able to get a replacement from the manufacturer after a couple weeks. Even though we bought it two months ago, we’ve only had a working one for about 2 weeks. It does work but you can’t mark off areas on the app. This thing was too expensive so have soooo many issues of it getting stuck or not working....dying before it can find the charger. And I only use it in about 800 sq ft at the most. I’d need at least 2 for my 1300 sq ft home. Very disappointed! I’ve put off paying extra for the tape that stops it bc honestly I don’t want to waste another dime! I thought the manufacturer would’ve added a roll for the inconvenience it nope!

Awful product. The bObsweep swept poorly. The app did not work. The Geek Squad TotalTech people could not overcome the problem and neither could the bObsweep tech support person.

Four months later and I hardly use the device. Its worthless it hardly grabs signal to map out the one story home. It is very diffulcult to find the prongs to charge. I have to constantly pick up the device when it gets stuck or just stops out of nowhere. There is an app for the device but its outa date. DO NOT BUY

Do not get one of these if you have a pet with hair. It does not do the job. I unfortunately had to return this item.

The robot hardly ever finished a cleaning. The bumper was constantly getting stuck in. After a software update it would sometimes just spin in place for about a minute. One time it made many passes on the same pattern. It went from spot A to spot B to spot C, then back to B and A. Then it repeated the whole pattern over again. I submitted a service ticket, and they were willing to help, but it took a bit of time between each response. I finally gave up and returned the vacuum.

I got this vacuum on a deal of the day for $199 and still returned it. It frequently got stuck on the carpet and in corners in general. The beater bars got clogged up with only a small amount of hair and required cleaning multiple times per run. In comparison, I also have a Roomba 960 and this $899 retail for this one hardly compares. Save yourself time and don’t buy this one at any price. Get a Roomba instead.
