I had never heard of thus case before, but it was a really great movie about standing up and doing the right thing no matter what. It really shows these women both at their weakest/scared and at their strongest/toughest.

"Bombshell" tells the behind-the-scenes story of the sex scandal that rocked Fox News and toppled the evil empire of Roger Ailles. Starring an A-list cast of actresses, topped by Charlize Theron as Megan Kelly, Nicole Kidman as Gretchen Carlson, and Margot Robbie as a wide-eyed, bushy-tailed Fox girl wannabe (Theron and Robbie were nominated for Actress and Supporting Actress Oscars) and an indelibly creepy performance by John Lithgow as Ailles, the film takes no prisoners in recreating the predatory work space of the cable news network and the sex-as-currency ethos of its management. You've probably read about this story. Regardless of your opinions about the "Fair and Balanced" network, you owe it to yourself to see this revenge of the blondes tale told in a way that Ailles would appreciate: heavy on sizzle, light on substance, and with just enough truthiness to get you thinking.

The movie is very dramatic -- would be great even if it were fictional. This is based on a true story, of course, and discusses a subject that should have received attention in this country long ago. The more I learn about this movie, the more that I like it. The bonus features are very good. Most impressively to me is that how close to the "true" story this movie was (Hollywood is notorious for corrupting a true story to add drama. Well written with characters as complex as they are flawed and a central theme that connects well with both liberal and conservative viewers. For me the true standouts include Margot and Lithgow, Margot in her ability to portray emotion (even with a fictional character a strong contender for best supporting actress). And the incomparable Lithgow in his portrayal of someone who is equally as vile as they are disgusting. Worth the wait.

A tour de force, especially if You appreciates movies for or about women. John Lithgow plays a despicable Roger Aires during his downfall for sexual harassment from a generation of men in power who felt entitled. Charlize Theron, Margot Kidder, Nicole Kidman, and Kate McKinnon each have their moments in the hostile environment that was (or is?) Fox News.

Dynamite actresses at the top of their form. Excellent script. Peels back the layers of deception and personality cult at Fox News. John Lithgow disappears in his fat suit and prosthetics so he is unrecognizable. He embodies nasty. Theron, Kidman and Robbie are perfect in their getting into the spirit of the piece.

I enjoyed watching this movie a lot and I thought that the acting was all great. I also thought that the director did a very good job. The main actresses have always been on my favorites list and I enjoyed watching them once again with a new story. I would recommend this movie to anyone who is looking for something a little different to watch.

I watch Fox programming all day, It makes me mad when a favorite host in on air on Tuesday, and than never to be seen or heard from again. This DVD explains how this happens. The male part can sure cause problems when it thinks for it self. Roger, was a complete idiot for not controlling, said "PART".

Hard to watch and it makes you so angry, but an excellent movie - and I'm saying that from a man's perspective. So hard to believe that after all these years, we have not come that far. But maybe with this, Weinstein, Cosby, etc - things will get better. In any event, great acting and spectacular makeup. Don't miss it!

This is a good movie I saw this 5 days before I saw Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker. I really like this movie A. Because there all Blonde in the movie and B. It's a very interesting and good story about what happened during the scandal. I can't wait to see this movie on DVD again and whenever I want.

If you can watch this amazing movie! Going through some of the dirties little secrets inside of one of the largest news outlets in America! Some will call it over exaggerated and other fake or whatever else they might come up with... in the end you and only you are the true judge

Sad, eye opening, shocking, and a must see. I was transfixed with the actors portrayals of these strong women, their performances really pulled me in. I was excited to see this movie, and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend really liked it too, but he's a Nicole Kidman fan! He would've bought it on 4k.

The Bombshell Blu-ray is a well produced disc. It has a great transfer and good extra features as well. The movie itself is well written and directed, but the real standout for me is the acting. The three female leads were all fantastic, as was John Lithgow.

The reason for 3 stars instead of 5 is because [to me] this is a one time viewing only film. The acting was incredible-insanely incredible (it’s worth watching for the acting alone)! In all honestly, the message in this film is far reaching-its just not a Fox News issue-it’s a societal issue. The story that unfolds is uncomfortable and jarring. You feel bad for these ladies. Once again, superb acting; superb script-but not a movie I could sit back and watch often. Bombshell doesn’t have rewatchability appeal to me but of course I’m a sci fi kinda guy..huge Theron fan tho. I’m just mesmerized by her-one of the greatest actresses of our time.

This movie details the sexual harassment of women at the Fox TV network. It is striking because of the strong victim's standpoint it takes. You really understand the psychological torment the women went through, even in instances without overt physical contact.

This was enjoyable and knowing it was a true story, I still had a million questions. The acting was superb but I just didn't get all of the motivations for these people and if it had been fiction, I'd have said, how crazy, absurd plot.

My wife and I were able to see this movie in our local movie theater and were happy we were able to purchase it at a good price from BestBuy and really enjoyed watching it and we are looking forward to watching it as often as we want.

Found the movie captivating, and no one else is telling this story. I'm a conservative and a female and thinks this story needs to be told. This is not an anti-conservatives movie. It's an anti-sleaze bag movie.

Excellent performances by the leading actresses here and John Lithgow is amazing in his portrayal. It's worth it just to see these fine actors doing what they do best...and yet it is such a timely message that everyone should see and hear about.
