Went from opening the box to scanning documents in less than 10 minutes. Once you download the software, you plug it into your USB and go. It scans quickly and quietly. The cord provided is long enough that I can place the scanner off to the side when not in use but still have it connected. Since it draws energy straight from the USB, there is no separate power cord and it powers off when you shut down your computer.

I bought it hoping it would be a replacement for a receipt scanner I've been looking for something like the neat to digitally store all receipts and expensses. Sadly this scanner is not a good replacement for that. It's only mobile as it says. Brother has some of the worst support and the apps and software are hugely bloated and inefficient

Quality is good, but so many software issues. Customer service from Brother is worthless. This doesn't work the best with apple product, and Parallels software since day one. I couldn't return it as it was bought for our business and didn't get to set it up until past the 45 days return policy for Elite Plus members.

Quick and easy to use. I scanned the first page within 5 minutes of taking it out of the box. This does duplex too but has to look at the instructions for that.

I love this scanner. It is very compact and so fast! Have used it quite a bit since purchasing and I am very happy with the results.

This product is usable for scanning offical checks for financial purposes, if you need a small mobile scanner, this is your buy.

Use from my office to scan and send documents to and from my computer. Has to have a usb cable to run, no wifi built in.

Love my new scanner at the fraction of the cost of Neat Receipt but extremely reliable.

Small and compact, fits in computer case and weighs so little you don't know it is there, but a life-saver when you need it.

I purchased this to allow me to scan decades worth of files from teaching in school and church. The speed with which it scans files is great. The choice of file types is a real asset. And the OCR capability in the bundled software has been a mega-scale timesaver! It has already more than justified its purchase price.

My job requires me to travel a lot and I can’t imagine doing without this mobile scanner. Used it for about a year now and its never failed me once,

Takes a little learning curve on setting up, but once done, quick and easy.
