Replaced 825dw that I've had forn7 yrs. Setup was easy across network. Print quality is great for home/home based business use.

does all I wanted it prints real clear pictures and it is easy for my wife to use and I really like how much you can print before ink runs out

All functions work perfectly. It’s quiet. (I expected it to be noisy, based on some of the reviews.) Two-sided printing works well, just a little slow to reverse the paper feed. Ink cartridge loading was easy. Waiting to see how long the ink lasts. Best of all-it’s air-print capable. I can print directly from my iPhone without using a cumbersome app. I’ve had inkjet printers from HP, Epson, Canon and Brother, and think this is the best one I’ve had. I still use the old (8yrs) Brother inkjet, I’ve discarded the others.

I haven't owned a printer for about 15 years as my needs are more scanner based, but this one is quiet, pretty quick, and seems to be easy on ink. Plus the cartridges are not the standard box shaped ones that dry out if you don't print for a few weeks and don't seem that expensive when compared to others out there. It should, however, be noted that this printer does not do duplex scanning. Sales associates seem to think it does but it definitely doesn't. For the price point, especially if you can catch it on sale, I think it's hard to do better.

It's compact and holds a years worth of Ink. It was an easy install and works every time. I highly recommend the MFC J99dDW

This printer has been a nice addition. It takes up much less space, prints documents very quickly and quite clearly. We have yet to use it with glossy photo paper, however, some test runs on regular paper look quite nice. I don't think this the type of printer "professional" photographers would choose nor people making thousands of copies a day, but for normal household use this works nicely. The photocopies look good and the fax feature has worked flawlessly to date. I would recommend this based on my experience so far as it is a good value compared to those cheapo $45 printers.

So far, works great! Very happy with it. I like the large ink supply tanks. Easy to setup, great scanner.

The brother color jet all-in-one was surprisingly faster than I expected. Easy to set up and hopefully the promise of no ink for a year holds.

Easy to set up, scans to computer wireless, and all around great printer. Our fire department has one also.

Easy set-up. Faster and quieter than our old printer. Easier to load paper. Best Buy has great service and pricing.

Brother will not support any Google platforms (except Google cloud printing). It does seem to allow printing from Chrome browsers using PCs (generic drivers), but it absolutely will not work with a ChromeBook! (I wish I had known this prior to purchase. The box is somewhat misleading since it sports a “Google cloud” logo—which in fact is the ONLY supported Google product.). Note: this has been confirmed via Brother technical support. With all of my other devices (Windows 10 PC, Apple devices, MacBook, etc.) it has setup easily and worked just fine. Seems like an excellent printer, except for this one glaring issue!

Nice MFC printer with all functionality. Scanner quality is amazing. Print speeds are good enough for home printing. The included cartridges give a good yield. I liked the ADF and its useful for copying or scanning. The only con is that this in between a traditional tank printer and an inkjet printer. Though the cartridges give at-least 3 times the yield then a traditional inkjet, they are also a little bit pricey compared to tank printers.

Setting up the printer in windows took a longer time than it should have. Had to load drivers and the print and scan program, then update the updater program, then update the print and scan program for my wife's windows 10 machine. On my linux machine I loaded the deb and installed and done. Good printing and the scanner works as well. Will have to see how the ink holds out. Has to be better than the HP that it replaces.

This printer prints excellent pics in color. The printer is user friendly also, connects wirelessly to your phone.

I purchased this printer because my old one, purchased in 2013, stopped scanning photos the way it's done for 6 years. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Brothers software several times in an attempt to restore it to its previous glory. Not quite sure if all the Windows 10 updates to my computer rendered my MFC-J875DW Printer incompatible. Maybe, it was just time for a new printer. I haven't used the scan image feature yet. I'm hoping I will be pleased. I'm pleased with documents I've printed on my new printer.

Was concerned about the wireless hook up but found it very simple to complete. Very high quality printing and simple operation.
