    Color bulbs DON’T WORK with HomeKit

    I didn’t know these wouldn’t work with HomeKit. So that’s rather disappointing. Also I ordered online and they were shipped from different places around the US. one of them was 100% a returned Item. I’d wager it was never checked by anyone as it had a sticker On the center of the bulbs “lens” with handwritten “B1” on it. So I’m gambling that there isn’t something wrong with it...since again it doesn’t work with my home automation due to the current limitations of C by GE. Using the GE app the colors are pretty and vibrant, the bulbs colors both match each other.

    I like that these bulbs are quick to respond. They are bluetooth but they will only pair with the required C by GE hub which is sold separately. Worked fine with Alexa for several months but without any explanation the linkage between Alexa and all of my C by GE lights has stopped working. The suggested remedy of removing the skill and then re-adding it did not work, so I'm stuck with six lights that Alexa can't find.

    I bulb works very well, I have mine in the recessed lighting above the sink. Being dimmable is nice, I can turn it down at night and the color changing is nice. Overall, I really like the bulb, the only caveat, getting it to connect with my google hub took forever. I almost thought it was defective, but after about 15 minutes, it just connected and started working fine. I had a previous smart bulb in the same spot that worked fine, so I know it's not the wifi or location... I would definitely recommend this product.

    Underrated Light Bulbs

    These light bulbs are never mentioned when it comes to the top smart light bulbs on the market, but they should, because these bulbs are excellent! The build quality is very good, and the light output is great as well, and the amount of available colors is plentiful. For a consumer that is interested in creating a smart home and doesn't want to break the bank I highly recommend these bulbs, because they get the job done and are of good quality.

    Great Full Color Smart Light Blub

    These are great bulbs, couldn't be happier with them. They give you a wide range of colors and can be controlled through the C by GE app or via Google Home and can be quickly changed to whatever color suits your mood and creates a great ambience.

    Pros: •colors are great •very bright •seamless pairing Cons: •sometimes due to a google home error they become disconnected and can only be used by the switches they are connected to • cannot find a single lampshade that actually fits this bulb

    I have a ton of C by GE bulbs and strips throughout my house. If you time your purchases to coincide with sales, the pricing beats the socks out of Philips Hue products. And the quality, in my opinion, is just the same. C by GE's App should have the ability to cycle through colors automatically if the user desired. The app does not have this, so I give the edge to Philips there... But other than that, I highly recommend C by GE.

    Smart light

    Is good and easy to configure but if for any reason it lost the internet connection is a little hard to restore to fabric set up and when you do that it took me a little time to confide with my google home but if you set it up it work perfect and had some type of colors, I will Recommend it because you don’t have to buy a extra hub if you already have one and they are not that expensive if you compare with others

We are sorry to hear that your smart light disconnected from from your Google Home device, We have found that this issue tends to occur mostly when Google pushes firmware updates to Google Home devices. It will cause the device to "drop" the connection to the bulbs.     Everyone Should Have One

    These are SO much fun! My toddler loves picking what color to change it to at night. It’s also super nice to amp up the atmosphere when we have friends hang out since we’re in a tiny apartment. I swear it makes the place look nicer/more fun? Lol. It’s also really nice to be able to change the hue of even basic lighting when I’m trying to get perfect lighting to do my makeup.

    lots of problems with google home

    if you are using these with the c by ge (now cync) app, they seem to work, although the ge app is poorly designed. However, if you are using these with google home, get used to resetting these constantly or having them fail to work. I have used other smart light and switches that work perfectly with google home, so not sure why ge is so unreliable.

    You must have a google hub to use this product. Through the google hub interface, it can be hard to select a custom color instead of the ones presented. If there is money to spare, I would probably just invest in the Hue if installed in a frequent location.

    Great multi colored bulb that works off of google app if you don’t have Alexa. It’s not as bright as I thought it would be but has a broad range of colors

    It’s a nice light, there is plenty of color range. I wish it paired with Apple HomeKit as a standard feature.

    Love the colors

    Got this for the pot light above my kitchen sink. Sets up was a breeze. Digging the multi-color, dimmable settings. It's really awesome to ask Google to turn on or off the kitchen light when the hands are wet from washing your dishes.

    My kids have loved playing with the different light colors and they choose several different light modes for each night! These lights are pretty cool and easy to use.

    Works great with Google Home ecosystem. Daughter loves it for her room light as it easily is turned on and off with a timer and can change colors so quickly when talking to her Google Mini.

    I purchased this bulb for over my kitchen sink. It was simple to set up and the colors are fun. I can now dim the light without a dimmer switch.
