In a lot of ways, this movie made Bill Murray a star. He was already well known from Saturday Night Live, but Caddyshack elevated his career to a new level. It has a ridiculous plot as the entire movie revolves around a country club golf course, but Murray adds the degenerative aspect which is in stark contrast to the rest of the cast. It needs to be seen to be fully appreciated and I suspect most readers of this review have already seen it more than a few times. Still it is a classic from its era.

When I saw this in the bargain bin and on blu-ray, it was a no brainer to pick this classic movie up. Well worth the price, so sit back and enjoy!

classic comedy of the haves and have not featuring a who's who of great actors and comedians...this movie never gets old and continues to tickle my funnybone.

This is a classic 80s comedy with Chevy chase, bill Murray and Rodney danger field. Also has ted knight. The plot is a little light, but the comedy is great. Sight gags, word games and Saturday night comedians. It's fun to watch or use as background for parties.... Everyone will love it.

You can't go wrong Watching this great movie. It was good when it was released originally. But it's better now with time The best of all time!

I’m being serious, is there a better movie? The answer is no. All is lost in the world when this movie is misquoted or not quoted at all. If you reading this, just make the purchase and thank god “because this is all you need”.

This is one of the best of the comedies with the best of the comedy actors. Rodney Dangerfield, Chevy Chase, Ted Knight, and Bill Murray all together. Individually they hold their own as great comedy actors, but collectively this is hard to beat. This is a must-have for any collection.

How can it get any better than Dangerfield, Murray, and Chase? They don't make movies or actors like this anymore. This one of those movies you can watch over and over. It's like Blues Brothers, Meatballs, or Animal House. Today's comedies don't hold a light to these classics.

This will always be my favorite Rodney Dangerfield movie. Some of his movies leave a lot to be desired, but in this one the interaction with Chevy Chase coupled with the side hilarity of Bill Murray make it well worth the time spent, especially in blu-ray at the price.

Classic Comedy, classic Rodney Dangerfield. If your unfamiliar with Rodney Dangerfield, this is a good film to get acquainted.

This movie is a classic. A true comedy that summarizes the 80's comedy genre. Brief nudity, crude jokes, amazing comedic timing from Chevy Chase and Bill Murray in their prime. Worth buying even if you watch it once a decade.

Suddenly realized my collection was missing this classic. Also realized that I hadn’t had a Baby Ruth for a long time. So delicious.

I went to see Caddyshack when it hit the theatre ( remember those? ). It was funny as hades then, and it still is! I also enjoyed the 30 min special feature with interviews with some of the key players.

This movie was surprisingly very good, and getting it on sale is even better. You should give it a shot for sure

A classic comedy featuring the late, great, Rodney Dangerfield. I don't know when Best Buy reduced the $4.99 bin to a $3.99 bin, but my wallet can't resist savings of this magnitude on movies with this much staying power.
