Hard to decide between 4 & 5, definite 5 stars if it could have just been added to our old cannon desktop print app could have seemlessly added this instead of installing a new one.
Went ahead with 5 cause got it for printing pics and for price, purpose, and hopefully longevity, definite 5 stars. Was about to be against cannon when i couldn't figure out how to manually factory reset our old mg 5200 series, but after finding the receipt and seeing it lasted over 10 years and paid less than 100, I stopped complaining. I will cont8nue buying cannon printers if I get 10 years out of their quality printers.

I liked the ease of setting up, using touch screen, using sd port. However I was amiss in not noticing a lack of a USB port. At least I have not found one. Hard to remove photos from iPhone. Quality of prints are acceptable but not up to par to previous printers I have had. For the money …..it’s acceptable.

I had Pixmar that I loved and used for years....then it started with the B200 error or whatever it was and I was able to revived it twice, sadly died. So I bought this model with is very similar but slightly smaller profile and it was a breeze to set up. No troubles with wiifi etc, literally worked right out of the box--never had that happen before so counting my blessings. Heard it was ink hog so I set to greyscale and std print as a default--so far so good!!! Oh and scanner works and copier as well..

The printer is compact enough that it fits in it's assigned space. Once the manual is reviewed the printer is relatively easy to use It also prints faster than our previous Canon.

So far it is working as hoped. B/W print quality is good; color prints are nice, but show a marked difference in color when printing the same image in small size (4X6) vs a larger size (8X10). Haven't figured this one out yet. B/W scanning is fairly fast. We'll see how this holds up as I have had print head issues with Canon before and it is cheaper and quicker to buy a new printer than replace the head (as in this case). Fairly quick setup to the computer, IPhone and IPad via WiFi.

This Canon TR8620a printer is just what the doctor ordered. It does everything we would ever want in a printer, it even has a window that tells you your ink levels at a glance. Plus, ink is very reasonable as far as pricing, and each ink can be replaced as necessary. All in all this printer is the best to get at a great price!

I enjoy the simplicity of this printer in all of the operations...
from changing ink to loading paper to copying and scanning. Gives good color and b&w prints. Functions quietly too

I have purchased a few other brands of printers over the last 10 years. Now finally I have found a really super printer which is the Canon (TR8620a) that out performs any other of the last 4 other brands of printers that I have owned (which I will not mention the names.) The colors are vibrant, the ease of changing inks, the easily instruction of installing it into my computer, and most of all it is the cost which is a super low price compaired to the othe brands...I will always own a Canon printer.......................

Easy to use beast bang for your buck printer. Prints come out clean with no smudging or blurring print quality. Big plus for us as well is no ink subscription.

Love my Canon printers. This one replaced my old Canon that was 10 years old and still working but I wanted to get the newer model. It prints really good quality black and white and color documents. I also use it to print out some engineering drawings that were originally 22" X 34" to an 8.5" X 11" print and you can still the details when you use your magnifying glass!!!

We use this primarily to print photos, which it does very well. It also prints documents well. This is our 4th Canon printer, and our 2nd of this model. In our experience Canon has been the most reliable and durable inkjet printer brand (and we’ve owned several each of the other major brands).

The printer and scanner work like a dream. It's quiet and doesn't take a long time to start-up or shut down. There is a little plastic piece on the paper tray that's problematic and could have been designed better. In order to print you have to hinge the control panel up to allow it to print; this is a bit of a detractor. The software that comes with the printer is a little archaic and "clunky", but it hasn't given me a problem. As a printer/scanner it's great. Mechanically it's very good and whoever thought about putting the power plug in at an angle was smart. Duplex printing is superior.
