I was very impressed with the Geek Squads ability to back up my data. I was not aware that was one of their many services they provide. So much more to look forward to with this membership.

The Geeks were very accomodating! I am not very good on computers, and they were able to do everything I asked and kept it simple! Sure put me at ease!

I had the geek squad transfer my data for my old computer to my new one. It was a 24hour turn around time which I thought was extremely fast. Upon pick up they reviewed my computer with me to make sue everything was correct and working properly.

My hard drive died (blue screen) and Geek Squad was able to recover all my family photos and important documents. I removed the hard drive doesn't need to be in the PC for them to recover your files. I'm so relieved. Took about 36 hours. Highly recommended!

Using the back up and transfer process offed by Geek Squad allowed me to upgrade my family's desktop computer in half the time it would have taken if I had been able to do it myself. Since the computer crashed literally overnight I didn't have a current backup of the files on it.

Purchased new PC and thought I could do the data transfer from old PC. Had some problems and took to Geek Squad. They were friendly and took care of work quickly. I will have the Geek Squad do the data transfer on my next PC.

I had to replace a crashed hard drive and Geek Squad did the work for me. They were unable to get anything from the crashed hard drive but by using my back-up and my history on file they were able to restore my computer to life.

The Geek Squad was great in diagnosing the issue I was having with my computer. They were able to recover all of my data and transferred it all over to my new Solid State Drive and my Backup Drive for me. The cost was well worth my peace of mind.

Bought a new MacBook Pro and needed to transfer files/data from my old one. It was much easier and comforting to have Geek Squad do this for me at the time they were setting up my new Laptop. I knew it would be done correctly.

These guys knew just what they were doing. I got my entire hard drive backed up where available. I supplied the external drive and they backed the old data so i had it to reload on the new PC without a minutes delay. Everyone was professional and polite. a pleasure to work with.

We took in an old computer to get a copy made of the hard-drive, primarily to save pictures. It took 2 days but we weren't in a hurry. Everything was performed as expected..

Would have been nice to have ported my data onto my large D drive rather than into the little SSD C drive. But no problem for me to transfer. Everyone was very helpful.

The Geek Squad did a great job with my data transfer. They were friendly and professional. The only thing I wish had been different is that they would have told me on the phone when I scheduled the appointment that it wouldn't be ready the same day.

My laptop was giving me a problem. So I brought it into the geek squad and they backed up the data and then replace the bad disk drive in my laptop. Updated from Windows 7 to Windows 10 and restored 365 in all of my data was back on my laptop. This is why I always keep my service plan with Best Buy. Whenever I have a problem with my laptop or any other device I can count on the geek squad to take care of me. I have been a loyal member of Best buys For many many years now I have found that I could always count on them even want to purchase things for my parents and other states. They go in and set up all the gifts and teach them how to use it.
