Data transfer and installation of new data was d9ne in a prompt way. The trchnicians were professional, helpful, friendly and answered all questions. Very much appreciated.

99% of what I had on My old computer made it to the new one, especially all My personal files & folders. Had to re-install my printer though. Not a big deal. For those who don't know what their doing, let the Pros handle it.

The Geek squad is such a wonderful asset to have at Best Buy. All the staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.. They were extremely patient and were able to take the time to answer all my questions. They were even able to transfer data which I thought was lost on my old tower to the new one I purchased. This was all done in a timely manner, I must add.

The team was extremely helpful backing up my files with no problem! Quick and efficient.

My laptop motherboard went out and im glad the geek squad was able to help me and recover my information. They backed it up on a drive so i was able to have all my documents. i left my laptop and a few days later went back to pick it up easy!

I recently purchased a new PC and left it with my old one at the Geek Squad desk. In a few hours they had all data transferred, cleaned up my external hard drive, explained photo storage to me, and readied the old PC so I could donate it to a non-profit community organization for their use. A few complications arose, which they handled perfectly.

Would not pay $100 for this, but the service was quick and everything was transferred exactly as it was on my old laptop. I received this for free with the purchase of my new laptop and could do the transfer on my own if it wasn't provided. A good service, but I think $50 is a more appropriate price.

Very knowledgeable and very patient. As a senior citizen I am not familiar with all the new computers and applications. The Geek Squad transferred everything I required from my old computer. The work was done in a very timely manner. When I went to pick the new computer up at the store they were very courteous, patient and answered all my questions.

I spilled coffee into my laptop, rendering it useless. I was using Norton backup services. However, Norton backup only had about 20% of what was on my computer!! I called Geek Squad and they said I had probably ruined the motherboard, but they might be able to extract all the data from the disc. Sure enough - they did!!!! Saved me from a disaster.

Had a laptop with a broken screen. I was unable to access the files myself. The Geek Squad was able to quickly and efficiently extract and back up those files to an external hard drive. Very much appreciate the technical expertise as there were many very important documents extracted.

the agent helped to transfer old pictures from windows 7 to MacBook Air. it's perfect.

The Geek Squad is awesome! I was concerned the turn-around to have my files from my old computer transferred to my new computer would take a week. Geek Squad under promised and over delivered. It was completed within 24-hours. VERY THANKFUL!

Documents were installed however they installed Edge and I woukd gave preferred chrome as I was familiar with that previously. Also was told that if price went down in 60 I would get a credit to my credit card, when it did go down I was only able to get a store gift card which I still have not received in 3 weeks. Also, the price is reduced even more in the furst 60 days of my purchase but they wiil not match it.

Was taken within a min of my time. Initially we thought the problem was my hard drive so they were going to put in a new one.Unfortunately it was my mother board and I needed a new computer. I did get a refund for they hard drive. They were able to save my data.. No charge under my plan.

We went to the Charlotte Pike location in Nashville last because my daughter was having a data issue with her laptop. The lady at the Geek counter was very helpful. She gave us an estimated time of completion (4 days d/t the complexity). We received a call by EOB the following day. Thanks Best Buy!

My hard drive crashed so I took my computer to Best Buy Geek Squad. It took a couple of days because they had several customers in line before me, but it was worth the wait. Geek Squad managed to save all of my files and installed them on my new hard drive. I'm glad I have Geek Squad protection for all of my new electronics.

I upgraded from an iPhone 6 plus to the new iPhone 15. it was a difficult process but the girls in store made it as good as humanly possible and got all my data transferred over successfully to the new phone. There was a problem wtih my first phone but they took care of see and upgraded me for free to the only other phone like mine that they had in store. I received the next level of memory at no charge. Way to take care of the customer!!

I took 2 laptops to Geek Squad to have the info from my old Laptop (Windows 7) onto my new Laptop (Windows 10) The transfer by the Geek Squad was quick and they took the time to help me set up certain changes from Windows 7 to 10 & help explain how to update my files and set up icons, favorites, etc. GEEK SQUAD IS A GREAT HELP !!!

The crew was able to transfer my data even though the computer decided to be uncooperative during our consultation. They were able to back up my laptop before it was sent out for repairs.

Computer was hacked, brought in for "clean-up". It had also been running very slow prior to being hacked, tech recommended upgrading hard drive. Service was completed within quoted time. It's running much faster since I have it back.
