My new laptop stopped powering on unexpectedly. This would normally be rectified by OneDrive but the sync didn't happen with my latest data. DATA was a major concern and Geek Squad took care of me. It's my own personal IT department.

We purchased a new Mac desktop computer and had no idea on how to get data transfer. The Geek Squad handled it all for us in a timely way and sat down with us to SHOW us what was done and where it was. Nice.

My pc would not power up and because I did not have an external backup drive, I took my computer to Best Buy for help. They were able to transfer all my data easily and all pictures and files are now safe. Thank you Best Buy!

I love geek squad I use them alot for all my computer repairs. They are very knowledgeable and they do not make me feel dumb for my lack of knowledge. They came to my home and fixed my TV. They are always professional and there is no wait time.

All of my saved documents, data and pictures was transferred from my old computer to my new Lenovo without the loss of one thing. They came through with the promise they made me and on the date and time they set up for me to pick it up.

Transitioning from PC to Apple my wife was worried that she would lose some of her files. The Geek team spent time with my wife and explained what they did and where she could find her information. We are happy with the results.

I had purchased a CD for making Greeting Cards, on-line. I tried installing it but kept getting an error message. I called the Hallmark Company and explained the problem the first time, and the gal said that the error means that there is a conflict with my Virus Protection, and I should contact that company for a solution. I tried that, but got nowhere unless I wanted to pay for the service to attempt to fix it. Since I already have a paid contract with Geek Squad, I called them. Agent Michael went through my system, even disabled the virus protection and it still would not install. He suggested that I return the Software to the seller and get either a refund, or a replacement. It took a while for him to check everything before giving his final suggestion, but I returned it, got a new CD and it installed correctly. Thank you Geek Squad for knowing what you are doing in so many situations.

The photos are on a stick, which now I can look at. They would have been lost on the old computer which would not work anymore. I am assuming they did a good job, but I am not very computer literate.

I set up an appointment online, came in on my appointment date. They were super busy, but because I had an appointment I was in and out really fast. Very professional. I was told that it might take 1-3 days. That is really just their policy as a buffer in case there are any issues. I was called back within 3 hours to pick my computer back up. It was all ready to go. I took in my Dell that I bought years ago (still running Vista) from Walmart. The power button went out and I could no longer start my computer. It was time to upgrade anyways. I ended up buying a custom built HP off of Amazon. None of that mattered. They didn't treat me bad or anything because I did use them for either computer. They did the initial start up on my brand new HP and data transfer over my data from the Dell. Very satisfied with the whole experience.

I was terrified that I would lose my documents and pictures. However, everything downloaded to my new computer in the same way as they were on my old one. It made me more comfortable in using the new computer.

Not quite happy with how this whole process has been working out for me. I am quite disappointed to know that some things are happening. Not quite sure how to fix this. I wish not to elaborate on this subject, being there are others who are going to be reading this. My ability to out come there to Best Buy, on the day that my spouse had dropped off my devices, which had left me unable to describe my own needs, due to my own physical disabilities. I am not very happy to be on a certain network, especially being that I know that I have deleted those so called sites. As far as the service goes. I do recommend Best Buy and Geek Squad. Very convenient to have Best Buy Geek Squad set-up new computer right at the store using old hard drive. Just pick it up when finished and it's like you haven't missed a beat.

GeekSquad has always been very professional and able to answer all my computer problems. It usually takes an hour or more when they take control of your computer but they run a complete analysis and repairs and updates all problems.

I was so impressed with the service by the Geek Squad. They knew what was needed, helped me choose a couple of upgrades, transferred all my data and had the job done in one day. I was also kept informed by email of the progress of my repair.

Transfer was perfect to my new IPAD! Was able to use immediately.

I have online backup but it takes days to restore all my files. Geek Squad did it in a matter of hours. I bought the yearly tech plan and it covered transferring my data files. Love Geek Squad and Best Buy!

The agents were able to save and transfer all my data from my old computer that crashed. That was a lot of documents! I really appreciate their service and expert recommendations for replacements!

My mother board crashed but the Geek Squad was able to transfer all my stuff off the drive onto a portable drive. It only took them an hour, even with ALL the stuff I had on the old drive - that they also returned in a static proof zip bag.

I just bought a new computer because I need to up grade. Geek Squad was so helpful with transferring everything from my old computer to the new HP Computer, all done in 24 hours too. Very Happy with Best Buy
