The sound is awesome. However, I am not sure if it is the Definitive app or possibly our wireless router but the speakers are always dropping on the wireless connection.

Connection to the home wifi was a little challenging. It took several attempts. The iPhone app is ok but it could be improved. I will be using it mainly as a patio speaker.

I purchase two of these and then after I heard them, my wife suggested I purchase two more as well as the WAmp for our outdoor wired speakers. They all sound amazing with more sound and quality that you would ever expect from such a small speaker. I did have some router issues but with the great customer service from DefTech, I was able to reboot my router and everything worked perfect. WiFi Play is much better than bluetooth and this will soon be the standard for wireless streaming or playback.

The sound quality is great, but getting the system to work as it should is where the struggle is. We chose this system over Sonos for sound quality, but the Play Fi system to use it leaves a lot to be desired - often we can’t get it to recognize certain speakers, or it drops them altogether. Hopefully they will make updates on that end - and then the speakers and system can be used as they should be able to be used.

For the size this is a good sounding speaker. Keep in mind this is a play-fi speaker so there are things that come with that. Look it up

W7 Wireless Speakers have excellent sound quality and an easy set-up. Great for any audiophile.

This is a great sounding speaker (Obviously def Tech) but not sure what they mean by wireless? Bluetooth yes, even at that it was a pain. I downloaded the app and I have a iPhone. It didn't play all the songs I have on my phone. I clicked on a song and it said, "This file can't be played". I dont know I got frustrated with the whole app and not playing my music. I have a huge amount of Def Tech products. Love them. Overall, do some research other than that; Speaker sounds great and is loud for the size of that cube.

I bought this on Black Friday deal buy one get one free for my Definitive Technology Sound bar. After setting up as the surround system it sounds great especially when you are watching a movie you can experience the surround sound. But setting up the speakers is hectic. Other than that it sounds like a mini theater speakers.

Bought couple of them. Pretty happy with that. My suggestion better to go with 5.1 you can see lot of difference while watching a movie.

Definitive Tech W7 is Superb, absolutely marvelous, incredible sound. This is my Third W7 an incredible addition to my Definitive Family of impeccable speakers systems, Solo cinema Studio, and XTR. Buy the best, get the best results, you will never have any problems that will not be solved by Definitive Technology's tech support or questions for there costumer service. Great sound and easy setup. Love having access to speakers in multiple locations.

Happened to pick mine up when it was on sale for $299. I'm kind of a WiFi noob, but even I had no problems setting this up. I've had none of the connection problems others have stated. I even move it about the house and it connects back to WiFi within seconds. Gets plenty loud and I've never heard any distortion. I will be buying other products from the Definitive Technology wireless line in the future.

These speakers are absolutely fantastic and a a great addition to my Def Tech speaker bar and sub. I have 4 of these around the house after starting with only one. I had been warned about the Def Tech mobile interface, but it's just fine once you're used to it. Sound is so much better than Sonos

Solid sound, and much better looking then other options.

Software and apps make it very user unfriendly. Can’t access all my ITunes for some reason. Sound is good though.

This speaker provides great sound and was very easy to connect with my dt sound system.

These speakers sound great. The DTS play-fi app needs a lot of work.

This is an outstanding speaker with great sound. It compliments the W Micro Soundbar, and can be paired with the Def. Tech W Micro Soundbar to create a great surround sound system. This works with your home wi-fi, but not blue tooth. It is also Play-Fi compatible. In my opinion, sounds much better than Sonos.

The software is a little clunky. But when connected sound is great. No Windows Phone app.
