I knew nothing of Device until about a month before this album came out, but once i knew it had David from Disturbed on vocals I was already interested and the finished product is a new age part Disturbed part progressive electronica sound. What tops it all off is the list of guests on this album, truly awesome, yet not forced when you hear them on the songs. As a bonus I suggest getting the editions with the bonus tracks because top to bottom this album is catchy and stellar, deserving a listen from any Disturbed fan.

Most of this album is pretty great - solid industrial metal, catchy and big. Serj Tankian and Tom Morello leave their marks, and Lzzy Hale's duet with David on Close My Eyes Forever was pretty impressive. If you like Disturbed, you'll probably like this.

I really liked this CD...having said that, it's probably because I like Drainman's style. But the tunes aren't great, so while I will pop this in from time to time, it won't be constantly in my rotation. I prefer Disturbed. Good for your collection and occasional listen. Pick it up for that.

Love the band Disturbed, so I followed Draiman over to this project of his, and was completely blown away by the quality of the songs. Each song has a different sound, but they all work to form one amazing debut album.
