Doctor Who Series 9 is even better than prior seasons. The series continues to evolve and improve each season.

(No spoilers) The packaging was good and discs were in good condition. I normally do not purchase partial seasons like this, but the price point was more effective. There are not many special features, basically one short behind the scenes for each story line in this set. Who fan: Although I've been on the fence with Peter's version of the doctor, the events of this season are quite a climax for fans since the show restarted. I'm looking forward to see what comes next!

As I said in my review of Part 1, the writing for the 9th season was much better than Season 8. The second part of the season really wrapped up some loose ends from Day of the Doctor. As like the first part, there are some good references to the classic series too. The two parter for the season finale really shows what the Doctor will do to protect his friends, definitely some of Capaldi's shining moments for his incarnation of our favorite time lord.

Every season of Doctor Who gets better. Timeless classics. Great digital quality for a Blu-Ray disc. Much more inexpensive to purchase both parts of Series 9 separately (this item and the Part 1) than to purchase the complete season as one item (although I will probably purchase the other one too as a collector's item).

I have to admit it has taken sometime for Peter Calpaldi to grow on me. However, watching this first season again has helped me realize that the folks at BBC know what they are doing. While not Matt Smith or David Tennant, Peter echoes certain tones of the classic Doctors.

Peter Capaldi and the new doctor becomes fully formed in his second season. However, without the BLACK FRIDAY sale, I would not purchase parts 1 and 2 separately. This seems to be a trend in scalping consumers. I am looking very much looking forward to season 10

Doctor Who played by Capaldi in his second year has really come to own the spirit of the Doctor .Capaldi has really brought his own touch to the character . The series always is well thought out . No spoilers here . I recommend you just watch it . It's pure entertainment .

as the doctors change we judge them against the previous doctors. I have not been impressed by the newest doctor.however he is improving and with time he may become what we expect the doctor to be. the scripts have been a bit off but the episodes are still entertaining.

Being a huge Matt Smith fan I was upset when he exited. Capaldi has more than filled the shoes. He brings a dry wit and sarcasm to the screen refreshing the role of The Doctor. I would definitely recommend this series to anyone who has a love for WHO.

The worst thing for fans is that we won't see Dr Who again until 2017 but just another fabulous set of wonderfully, creative and interesting episodes that will make you want to see them over and over again to see if there was something you missed.

So, the new Doctor is perfect, contemporary yet an excellent call back to the original doctors. Unfortunately, he's been saddled with some real clunker episodes, but the good ones outshine them. On the downside, three words: Dalek doo doo...

I purchased SSN 9 Parts I&II as a lower cost alternative to the full SSN 9. As far as I can tell, there is no difference in content of the two combined as compared with the single full season packaging. A must have for Doctor Who fans!

The picture quality is great and you can't go wrong with anything Doctor Who!! If you are a fan I don't need to say anything else great season!! If you are new to this give it a try you will not be disappointed.

This is the second part to the series. I'm not sure why they break it up, but they do. If you are a Doctor Who fan, and you want the complete series, this is for you!

Well, this was what I was hoping for when I purchased this Blu Ray season set. Turns out to be much better than I had imagined. I'm glad that I purchased this film.

when the doctor travels thru time and space, anyone can die at any given moment. always a sad moment to lose a companion that one has grown attached to.

He's not my favorite but Calpaldi does a decent job. it's tough when you are following two Doctors who are in my top five Doctors of all time.

Glad they released the season in 2 parts so fans can get 1 season in their hands, without having to wait so long for the entire season.

I have been a fan forever, This a great addition to my collection of Doctor Who discs. great color, great quality. Recommended viewing!
