Don't get me wrong, I really like Matt Smith, and his portrayal of the Doctor includes some fine acting. Amy and Rory are two of the most interesting companions as well. But the writing these actors were given is some of the worst ever devised for the series in its over 50 year history. The convoluted story arch that governs this series is so full of plot holes and inconsistencies that the big heart-pounding reveals are actually little more than predictable letdowns. The Doctor deserves better writing, and so do his companions. Buy series seven instead.

The system does not save where the play stopped at with the disc. Each time you pause and turn off the player the next time in the disc starts back like it is a brand new disk. This is the first disc I have seen behave this way. I would wait and hope that the menu system is fixed before purchasing.
