||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Unearthly Child is forgotten but it started the dynasty. Truthfully its pretty hard to write a story with Neanderthals because of their limited speech and ease in which they can be fooled. The Daleks was the episode that solidified the whole series despite misgivings of the show's creator. The Edge of Destruction was a poor premise, poorly acted out and poorly put together.

The first episode of The Unearthly Child was brilliantly acted. The Daleks introduced the Doctor's main enemy and cemented its future. Edge of Destruction to me is a letdown, not well acted nor written.
