Surprisingly, they do seem to actually work. The intent is to balance out the sensors to make the colder areas warmer. If a room where the sensors are located notices activity, the thermostat will automatically increase the temperature. I will be keeping them but will need to monitor my utility bills to see if the overall costs increase, stabilize or decrease to make the investment worthwhile.

Easy to setup sensors that help keep costs to a minimum for the HVAC system. I really like that they can “tell” when a person is in a room and they are extremely accurate.

These are a great edition to ecobee thermostat. The master bedroom is generally a different temperature than where the thermostat is located. I'm now able to control the temperature in the master bedroom with one of these sensors during the night while I sleep.

My wife loves these alot. With these our bedroom which is furthest from the Central Air, can have the proper temps and not be cooking us alive.

We put one of these in the most used rooms on the first and second floors of our house. It lets the HVAC system know when someone is in that room and to make sure the temperature is correctly set (home, away, etc.). Very handy addition to a very smart thermostat. Recommended for Ecobee systems.

You simple to link to the ecobee and helps keep the upstairs in my Tri-level cooler than with our them. Also nice I can monitor the temperature from my phone to see temps in room that the sensors are in. And nice that they are motion activated

Easy to set up....At first I just wanted a single one but the second one comes in handy to let you know what the temp is in any other room.....

Must have if you have lots of rooms and want to keep temperature control even throughout the house. If I’m upstairs and it’s 67F and I set my t-stat to 70, even though it’s 70 downstairs, the heat will continue to kick in until my upstairs reaches 70.

It's nice and small and works good. Would buy again.

Important companion to the Ecobee thermostat. Not sure how well the updated version works, but both my legacy and updated versions help keep my temperature better balanced between rooms and compliment the Ecobee thermostat beautifully.

It’s nice to be able to monitor the temperature in the rooms, especially when there aren’t guests in the extra bedrooms.

so small but makes a big difference in the rooms they were put in. small enough to place any where they are not even seen.

Added these to my Ecobee thermostat and they are a great help in monitoring the overall status of temps throughout the house, garage and crawlspace. This is critical in Alaska with the cold temps and possible freezing pipes if your furnace was to fail.

These around my house make the smart thermostat really shine. Without the sensors I'm not sure the thermostat alone would make that big of a difference. 4 of these around my house make my house the most consistently comfortable it has ever been.

Does what it is supposed to. Not really sure if it is saving money compared to a preset schedule. I do like being able to see what the temp is in each room I have it in, but it looks like they may not be making these anymore.

I have always liked ecobee sobe i had it in my last house. We work from home so having th extra sensors made sense to me and also to see how our new house spreads the ac and heat within our house... so far they have worked great.

A little smaller than i imagined, but definately works perfectly. They can be easily placed out of sight, out of mind. Love being able to see the temperature in multiple places throughout the house. Installation only took about 5 minutes

These smart sensor are a perfect extension of the Ecobee and provide an easy method to monitor and maintain temperature based upon occupancy. The sensors were easy to add and include in the scheduling after a firmware update.

Easy setup and versatile. It not only acts as a temperature sensor, but also as a security sensor.
