These were replacements for the gen 1 units. They are a better design and easy to add to the system.

Bought these sensors to go with my Ecobee Smart Thermostat and they are amazing. They provide motion sensing and room temperatures wherever they are placed.

Having two more room sensors lets us have the ecobee adjust the temperature in our main living area, bedroom and two home offices. We had ecobee in our old house and had the older sensors. These are slightly nicer looking and the magnetic stands are much nicer than the old plastic one. I also like the option to mount them on the wall.

Very helpful being able to monitor movement, temperature and occupancy anywhere in your home with your ecobee.

SmartSensors are essential to your Smart Thermostat. Being able to key the house to certain rooms throughout the day has already paid for itself.

I would say these are a must have if you use Ecobee thermostat. Gives awlverage from all around the house and motion detection.

Great sensors!! Updated sensors are better than the previous version! My only wish is there were 3 like the original set when I purchased my Ecobee!

I’m so glad that I bought these sensors and now i have them in each of my room.. they do a pretty good job in tracking activity and controlling the temperature.

They work as advertised. No problems, and since my thermostat is in a bad place, they help me keep a more accurate temperature in the house.

Works well with thermostat to allow me to adjust my temperature on both levels without having an upgraded system. I say which sensors to monitor when.

These things pair seamlessly and add sensors to a greater footprint of my home. I love them! I'm also using them as motion sensors to trigger Apple Home automation.

Using these with the thermostat really helped regulate the temperature in the house. Before these, the temperature seemed to go between two extremes.

I've had an Ecobee3 with the original smart sensors for about 3 years. Occasionally I would get a sensor disconnected message from some of my bedrooms and the T-stat would tell me to move the sensor closer which would've been impractical. So I replaced 2 of my old sensors with the upgraded versions and the problem cleared up immediately. The range on the new sensors is much better and they're more stable. They mount to the wall a little differently but not a big deal. The magnetic stands are also a nice improvement since they don't interfere with battery replacement like the old ones.

I'm very pleased with these sensors. They were easy to set up and are quick to sense when someone comes home or enters a room. I will probably get another pair.

I needed more temperature sensors for my house and Best Buy had them in stock. Setup was way and quick.

One of my favorite things about the Ecobee smart thermostat line is these smart sensors. Really help in rooms that are far from the thermostat.

These help maintain the desired temperature when we have doors shut. One in our room and one in the kid's room helps keep the whole upstairs relatively the same temperature.

Installed in a cold room and now it stays the same temperature as the rest of house
