I was on my way to purchase another extender for my house. So my ring doorbell would get better connection. The Best Buy employee told me about this. This is the best invention. I have WiFi in my driveway, in my backyard I can sit on patio furniture. My home is 3100sq ft so I got 3 eero box. You can buy 2 or even singles. No thinking at all when plugging it in. I have one upstairs back of house then upstairs front of house and one downstairs. Even my gamer has fast reliable WiFi and never complains. It’s pricey but I was planning on buy a better router and extenders anyway so 200 bucks more and this is wonderful. Best Buy price matched me and that was a nice savings for me too. My Ring doorbell has no lagging or chopping. At first it was wired but that angle was not great videoing capturing on face. We moved it but needed to use battery feature on ring now. When moving it my WiFi wasn’t in reach as well (prior to eero) my ring showed a -70 after eero its -43 at one time I had the Ring chime extender and that still showed bad negative number. So if anyone is really caring about decent reliable WiFi this Eero is the way to go. Pick the box that is good for your home size. Also their customer service when calling are so professional and caring. You can understand them and you’re not passed around. I called to understand it more making sure I was doing everything correctly. It’s been around for 5 yrs the Best Buy guy said and at least 4 employees have it. One employee said there is another one similar starts with an A but he ended up taking that one back and got eero and they’ll couldn’t stop saying nice stuff about it. I definitely recommend this to friends, family & even strangers. PS nothing like paying for high speed internet and using their router realizing you’re not getting what you pay for, calling them & they say oh will send you a signal etc blah blah blah. Try to pretend they’re trouble shooting you. So you’re desperate you go out and get extenders. No, not anymore I have eero now & this company even does automatic updates you don’t even need to worry. I was so excited to drive my router down turning it into my internet provider no more of their telling me I had the best one. I got my receipt that I turned it in (nothing like trying to be charged for that down the road that I kept it) also each eero’s have 2 Ethernet ports as well so you can even hardwire them. Go check out their website.

I bought three of the EERO-Pro units and set them up in my 2 story house. I have to say that set up was quite easy the first time and resulted in a really nice mesh network throughout the house. My only self-caused problems (now fixed by the way) was when I added a multiport ethernet switch to the system and renamed my network...resetting the EERO units so they would reconnect took a bit of patience and multiple attempts. Note that email and chat support from EERO is EXCELLENT...they answer quickly and will stay on the line as long as it takes...great folks! My system is up and running, all units are now hardwired (backhauled) and the system is really good. Their app is full of great information on the system...I'm not an IT guy (retired civil engineer) but can fully recommend the EERO units. Like I noted...they are not inexpensive but they are really good.

Have a large and long shaped house. Nothing was working. Did a lot of research on the mesh systems and this had the best reviews, so we decided to give it a shot. It's on the pricey side... but, with that said it was very easy to setup with the app. Download the app, plug in your main pro unit to your router and follow the directions. Really was that easy. Already recommended the same system to a friend, who had a separate building from his house and was having issues with other systems. He purchased it too and loves it after he got it all set up!

Works great! I wanted something that was affordable in a mesh router system. I have a 2000 plus sq ft octagon shaped home with lots of weird internal walls and 3 floors. I was using one wireless router previously that only provided about 2-10 mbps down to an office area. The internet connection I pay for is advertised as 50 mbps down. I chose this particular product because it has a dedicated band for talking to each other AND each unit has an ethernet connection available. Set up was easy with my mobile phone. My down speeds went to around 58 mbps after installing all 3 units. In my office, it didn't seem to make much difference if my computer was plugged in directly to the ethernet jack or just communicated wirelessly. However, my smart TV had some trouble keeping a good connection. My guess is that my Sony TV's wifi components weren't working well with the eero. Regardless, I then just put the upstairs eero nearby the TV, and plugged the TV into the eero with the ethernet jack. Bingo, works like a charm. While this system was more expensive because of the ethernet, I feel it was great insurance for problem devices. I highly recommend this older, but more affordable system. The newest systems from Eero have more up to date tech (WiFi 6), but I didn't need that yet, and didn't want to pay a premium for it. I think my wife likes the units because there are no visible antenna, and they seem to work equally well under things like chairs, or behind cabinets, to hide them. Having 3 units probably makes all the difference. I might consider upgrading my internet speed now.

We previously had one WiFi booster in our one story (with loft) very large footprint ranch home. In a couple of areas we dropped signal, so when that old booster finally gave up the ghost it was a relief to be able to upgrade. After some research we chose the eero Pro mesh WiFi (3 eeros, rather than 1 and beacons) and are very pleased with it. In a couple distant corners the signal strength is only 2 bars but is still plenty strong for all activities. We’ve had it a month and it has been stable. The app shows all connected devices and shows which eero each device is hitting on. It comes with a 30 day free anti-virus trial. You can purchase monthly or discounted annual subscription, or upgrade to a multi-service suite package (or not, if you already have and like your provider/s). 4 stars, only because it is a pricey investment.

My wifi connection was terrible even with a new modem and router. I bought this system and it instantly boosted my connection in all parts of my house. Never had a loss of connection. This system works great and I appreciate the ethernet ports on each eero.

My house had serious issues with wireless. I upgraded to 400Mbps and a mix of power line adapters and 2 routers and wasn't getting close to this speed. I tried several other routers with no luck. I was in IT for years and honestly lost as to what to do with the wireless issues in my house. Finally I had Best Buy come out and evaluate and this system was recommended. I was hesitant about spending this much, but I can say it was well worth it. Super easy setup using app on my iPhone and some good configuration features. The absolute best part is the amazing speeds I'm getting not just in every area of my house, but the speed I get in my backyard. Even get connection at the far back corner of my yard. I am very impressed. I love the option when you can be alerted to a new device on the network.

I purchased it because my spectrum modem/router doesn’t send out the WiFi signal very far, plus my inner walls are insulated and my home is 2800 sq ft. I had dead spots all over the place. I have the 400 mps service through Spectrum. I normally get around 350-390 mps if I’m near the router. If I walk to another room only 20-30 ft away, it was dropping to 60 mps. 50 ft away-16 mps, my furthest bedroom-no signal. Now with eeros, those same rooms stay are at a consistent 250+. My furthest room which is at consistent 200+. Again it’s very expensive but very worth it. Set up wasn’t bad. Remember to stay on your cell phones internet when setting up the first eero pro.

Easy setup and device management. Provides unbroken WiFi in my almost 2800sqft house. We have lots of walls and rooms (not open concept) and we finally have good access from the attic to the basement and parts of the yard and driveway. The only downside is that it sometimes pauses when switching from one Eero to another or if too many devices are on it at once.

I've tried numerous extenders and routers to no avail and still had wifi connectivity issues. Did my research and ordered the eero system and couldn't be happier with my purchase. The smartphone setup app was straight forward and even told me that one of my locations was not good. After that, it's been smooth sailing with no dropouts whatsoever and the speeds are phenomal. I have Verizon's FiOS and all you need to do is follow the setup directions to eventually place eero into "bridge mode" and everything still works just fine with FiOS such as TV On demand, widgets, guide, etc. Highly recommend this product.

Best WiFi I have ever had. I’ve never had to reboot these. This system has been the fastest and most reliable I have ever owned. The options and ease of use are incredible. The area of coverage is astounding. They are easy to hide and don’t light up too bright to bother anyone in the dark. The ability to label each device connected to it and to make categories of people for each of their devices is awesome. I’d say the price is worth it. If you want great coverage, never have to reboot the router, and amazing speeds then this is the system for you.

Had the Orbi With 2 satellites for about a month. After multiple calls to them for support, still was unable to get them to get all devices online without compromising something else. Ring didn’t work, they told me to take 5g off line then Instagram wouldn’t work, etc. multiple issues. Wife was getting ticked off. She also thinks these are the same price, so shhhh. Eero, came home, plugged in, Updated firmware. No problems. Ring worked, Fios worked, IG worked and wife said WiFi was fast. This is day one, and so far worth the difference in price.

I had been wanting to get a mesh network going as I live in a two story house and have almost half an acre lot with a pool and outdoor kitchen fire pit etc. We spend time almost everywhere, poolside or gaming room, so I wanted to have good network coverage. It was simply to set up and I have not had any issues since I have had it going. I will probably get one more eero only to have in the very corner where the fire pit is. Though I may put that off as I have not had any drop offs and it's funny as my phone picks up my network driving 4 houses down when coming home. It's great. This also uses it's own software as well as own proprietary engineering, so it will be hard for hackers. Get this, you wont forget it.

I bought this to increase coverage in my home. At $500 bucks it seemed a bit pricey, but I thought why not? I was previously using an Asus 3100. It was very easy to set up, provided decent coverage, not great, and fast speeds (pegging Speedtest at 250 mbps on the bottom level of my home. Speeds dropped to 130 on the second level. Pretty good. Here's why I took it back. Moving the three units around trying to improve signals and coverage was a pain. No matter where I placed them I couldn't get above 30 mps in the Master Bedroom, a room I had no problems with using the Asus. The management app was made for novices who don't want to mess with settings. There's not many options. There's also no support for iPV6 (a deal breaker in today's world) and you have to purchase a professional plan to tweak family restrictions, etc... I mess with settings to open ports, configure stuff, and couldn't. I have a teenager and couldn't put on restrictions the way I could with the Asus unless I paid another 100 a year. And each unit only has 2 wired ports (I have a Netgear Arlo base, WD My Clouds, and a few other things to connect). And one big thing. I have 6 smart tvs, 4 computers, 3 cell phones and 5 Arlo cameras. I was told this could handle all the devices I could throw at it. That was not my experience. I experienced freezes which disappeared when I hooked my old router back up. In the end I took it back and bought an Asus GT-5300. It fits my needs better. Would I recommend it? Yes if you don't mind the $$$, don't need custom configurations, and have good luck out of the box.

I was having issues with my router losing it's internet connection and was frequently having to restart the router to regain connectivity. I have had the eero system for about a month and the connection has been very stable and the range covers my entire house and yard with a strong connection. Was very easy to setup. I like how the system has the intelligence to determine which of the eeros it should connect to and effectively load balances the connections.

After doing much research comparing similar brands, I decided to bite the bullet and purchase this item. A little expensive for a wi-fi system but I can say it does what its supposed to do and eliminated dead spots. So user friendly with its online app customizing settings whether guest login or device management. I have a two story house and the three eero's cover 3000+sqft just fine with a little help of an external wi-fi analyzer app assisting in eliminating dead spots. Skeptical at first but now I am a believer. Reading other posts, there are other plug and play items of the same brand that can seamlessly connect and extend your range, though the price may not be what you want. You get what you pay for.

I was not aware of this product prior to coming to the store. I liked the form factor especially since it can go just about anywhere and not be noticed. This set of 3 was going to replace my long standing Apple Extreme base station with 2 extenders which was constantly failing and losing connection all the time. The great thing about this product was the setup. Extremely fast and seamless. Just plug and set up on the phone app and it does the rest. Everything was up and running in about 15 minutes. No glitches so far and the system is much more reliable. Netflix or other streaming channels do not stall like before. Everyone in the house notices a dramatic improvement and I have 3 floors which work better than ever!

I have spent considerable time and effort in numerous venues, tech sources, online raters, tech journals, Consumer Reports, Best Buy, and Amazon, researching routers and particularly mesh systems. I have over the years used different brands and grades of routers, and while some perform fairly reliably, others have not. I had one that was advertised with a “lifetime guarantee”, so at the time I thought that I could buy with some degree of confidence, however, when it died within a year, and the company refused to honor their guarantee, i found that their guarantee was worthless. To me, that meant that the company itself was worthless. The router that I had currently was working okay, but although our home is not particularly large, 2600 square feet in two levels, even though it was centrally located, the router’s range was a bit lacking, and its app proved completely unable to connect with the router. That meant that when I had to restart it to its original factory settings, that I had no way to ensure secure settings, and in addition the default password was “password”, certainly a less than desirable security setting. But given that that app refused to connect, I could not access the router or its settings to make any changes. Finally, the manufacturer’s customer support was nonexistent, and even the community was of little if any help. So, given the situation, it was time to look elsewhere. My objectives and priorities were as follows starting from most important: 1. Service & Support 2. Reliability 3. Performance 4. Range From my research I found that there were numerous manufacturers that had routers or mesh systems that performed well to varying degrees, some with performance that were rated very highly. Many had good range, again to varying degrees, although for some, performance dropped off drastically as you got farther away from the router. Some seemed reliable enough, but again to varying degrees, many seemed to be plagued with various bugs and othe issues. But perhaps the most important thing was that most companies really didn’t give much support, if any. And often, if they did give support, it was lacking in timeliness, sometimes taking days, weeks, or even months before responding to their customer’s concerns. Things can go wrong with any product, it happens, and it can’t be expected that everything will always work perfectly 100% of the time. But when the inevitable happens, will the company stand with their customer, and do everything humanly possible to help. That is the kind of company I was looking for, and I believe I found it in eero. Their mesh system performs very well by all accounts, and I have found that to be very much so, it has excellent range, again confirmed in my experience, and all reviews show it to be a very reliable mesh system. But most important of all, the company stands with their customers when the inevitable glitches happen, or even if it’s just a matter of technical help needed by the novice. I am very competent technically, not at all a novice, but eero’s customer support is there, they stick with their customers, so I’ll stick with them! Awesome is the word!

After much research, I finally bit the bullet and bought the eero Pro WiFi System. I had done a lot of research, and even more waffling, about moving away from my many-years-old Apple Airport Extreme setup. It has served us well but was behind the times, both in technology (even with two Extremes and a couple of Expresses (Expressi?) we had dead spots) and software (which the Airport App could administer updates & restart the base stations, as well as show connections, it couldn't do anything else, really). (FWIW, I went with the Pro (three full eeros) rather than the other options (eero + 2 beacons, eero + 1 beacon, etc.) as I have a two-story house with a lot of walls and distance, and knew this'd offer the best coverage for the size/shape of my home. Incidentally, if you get a "lesser" system and need more, adding more eeros (for more coverage) is quick & simple.) The eero system offered everything I was hoping for from an Apple Airport updated release: a mesh-based wifi setup (no more dead spots) and exemplary software (administerable via iOS app for me; of course there's an Android app as well). It also features a very minimalist design & profile (something I very much liked about the Airport, tall though it was), and looks quite nice wherever placed. Setup was quick after downloading the eero app, and walks you through each step. I don't remember much about it because there wasn't much to it. About 15 minutes after opening the box, I was pretty much done. I did have a hiccup in that my initial speeds after installation were quite slow -- but slow enough for me to realize it was likely a software issue. Sure enough, a software update followed a day later, and my speeds were up to snuff. (I am on Comcast's 150Mbps tier, and I routinely show high volume speeds just above that, with overnight tests showing about 180Mbps.) Parents will like the Profile feature in the app -- I set up a profile for each member of the household, and added their respective devices to it (anything that connects to the eero can be added to the profile; computers, handhelds, game systems, etc.). If someone needs a break (for whatever reason), you can pause their access to the network. There's also a "Guest Access" option (which I've not had call to use yet) to allow someone to temporarily access your network. eero Plus is something I'm investigating next; it's essentially a digital security suite, offering VPN, 1Password (great app!), and anti-virus, ad blocker, ability to create a kid-safe network, etc. It's a $9.99/mo or $99/year service. More info at the eero site. All in all, though a big outlay cost-wise (thanks BestBuy for the 12 mos same as cash option, though!), the whole household is very happy and data is streaming along. No more dead spots, no more slow downs (except those caused by Comcast themselves), and easy administration.
