There's a reason Elgato products tend to cost a tad more than their competitors: they're worth it. The HD60X is a great device for next gen console gamers on PS5 and/or Xbox Series X to capture and stream from a PC. That said, their 4K Capture Utility isn't great, so having a secondary option for streaming/recording like OBS is a much better alternative.

Elgato finally got around to redesigning HD 60 Line with this X model Which now offers 4k/60FPS with HDR Passthrough and 1080p/60FPS HDR Capture. If you have Xbox Series S or X it will work out of the box with no issues. However if you have a PS4/5 you'll need to turn off Enable HDCP Mode in the System settings before hand for the HD60x to work. Kinda annoying because you want to use apps like spotify for custom music on the PS5 it won't work. However on Xbox Series X doesn't suffer this problem. I you want to use apps your streaming apps you'll need to re enable HDCP mode on the PS5, But make sure you plug your PS5 back in the TV or Monitor before you do. Design wise it's thin and slim you can plug all your cables in the back expect the audio jack which is in the front for PS4/5 headset audio capture which makes sense. Overall Elgato HD60X is an answer to the AverMedia Cards out in the market right now, I normally use the Elgato cards to stream with my friends on Discord for group chats. If you stream with OBS you will have no issues.

Industry leader no need to ask questions you get what you pay for and this is the best. Invest in a setup that doesn't involve you unplugging or plugging stuff into it. It's not a cheap product but the more you do the more wear & tear. Can't blame yourself if it breaks and you mistreat it.

It was a little confusing but nothing like a good ole YouTube video can’t fix:) it streams great quality and imo best bang for your buck.

I was looking for something to record my nintendo switch screen and I got this video capture.. for now is amazing but my computer is not able to play high resolution recordings, so I will need a new pc..

It's mostly good but what bothers me is the low color vibrancy. There's not enough color when I'm streaming and recording. Even when I go into the 4K Capture Utility application to adjust the color saturation it doesn't feel like it's enough to where the gameplay is vibrant for a stream. I stream on Kick and use OBS and to keep colors looking decent it feels like I have to have the 4K Capture Utility app running in the back which shouldn't be the case. Maybe there is something that could be done to correct this but I've already got the color saturation at it's highest setting. The contrast brings in too much white light so that setting doesn't really help make the colors pop out like they should. I used Final Fantasy VII Remake as a reference when playing around with the picture settings. I don't believe it's anything with my monitor because the quality of the color saturation looks all the same on all 3 of my monitors.

Works exactly as intended. Needed something to stream with and this works perfectly with OBS. No input lag whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a capture card to stream with.

Excellent product. I got it because I wanted to start streaming and the set up was pretty easy. Good for console streaming especially.

This card is one of the best in the market. Had no issues setting it up. The purchase was super easy; ordered online and picked up in Best Buy's new outside locker system. Very happy with the hardware and shopping experience.

Works as expected. The only issue I have is it can't go above 720p in discord. But other than that, no issues. Very easy to setup as well.

This product is an amazing capture card that many amateur streamers and party-gamers use to help broadcast their games. I personally use it for my Switch and PS5. However, the software that Elgato uses borders on unusable on how it processes audio and it will likely sound crunchy or all-together broken, so if you use this use OBS, Streamlabs, or other adjacent software even if you are not streaming.

Very useful for streaming. I was able to stream my Nintendo switch gameplay onto my pc so my viewers can watch. The audio had me a little confused setting up but after a video I was able to get it together.
