I liked the larger ink tanks. I felt the higher price was justifiable after reviewing the extra features this printer/scanner offered. Yes, the learning curve is longer for this printer, however, the benefits are worth it.

I bought this Epson printer exactly two years ago, and it has already stopped working. I'm an elementary school teacher, and I was working on some Christmas projects for my students when it suddenly broke down. I'm very frustrated because I couldn't finish everything I had planned for them. I called the 1-800 number and explained the problem. They told me I still have a year of extended warranty and that I should take it to the store for a replacement. I hope they give me a new one, but this will be my last Epson. I'm not very happy with this brand, and I don't recommend it.

Absolutely a perfect buy. EPSON is the only printer I will buy. The ink tanks last for a very long time. Definitely a printer that will save you money.

So far so good. I haven't yet had a chance to check out all of its features. But the 'EcoTanks' are a wonderful relief from constantly buying all those darn cartridges!

So fair, it/s working out well. Ink going more slowly than in past printers, Hoping that means money savings in the end. No unexpected jams

It does print and scan so I didn't give it just 1 star. Issues: Scanning at 600DPI is SUPER SLOW. Printing is also slow. It takes 1 minute or so to start printing. It does print card stock, I knew I had to use the bypass feeder, but you have to load it one at a time on the bypass feeder, you can't load 20 pages and just let it go. The printer frequently says "Out of Paper" but it still has paper and it prints. The scanning does not work on a routed network. (may be my firewall) (the other issues all occur even when the printer is on the same network as the computer.)
