I bought this printer to replace my old Canon pixma from 8 years ago. Wow what a disappointment. The printer heads never aligned properly, whenever I printed a bunch of papers, the last few always came out crooked. I also got this for it's photo capabilities and boy it disappointed there too.
It does not do Borderless prints. my old $80 Canon from 8 years ago was able to this yet a $200 printer in 2019 can't? Another thing they don't mention is the ink tanks. Eventually you're going to have to service the printer ink tanks and it'll cost you almost the price of a new printer, so you're not saving money on ink unless you're constantly using this printer.
This is not for occasional home use! If you're in the market for a printer, this is not it. Look elsewhere and make sure to check reviews online. I ended up getting a $80 pixma again (on sale) Canon ts9120 and it does everything I want.

I bought this printer because I was told I would save on ink. This printer claims to print thousands of sheets of paper and that the ink supply provided will last about 2 years. Well, it’s been only 2 months and I am out of ink. Didn’t even print hundreds of sheets of papers. While the quality is good, this product didn’t perform as described.

It was expensive but great for ink. we have already had to clean the heads and it took multiple times cleaning it to get the lines to go away on the print out. Hoping that it is fixed now with the cleaning.

I tried different setting and profiles, but photos printed with muted colors and did not match original colors. I returned it and purchase a XP960... which is working really well.

I have owned Epson Printers for over 35 years. After all the hype about this printer on a female tech radio show I expected a great printer!
Black Print is good.
Color print is average.
Color copy is poor.
Because of it's color functions / capabilities these drive the rating below average.
My old Epson was much better at color printing and copying.

Great Concept but the Worst Printer Ever

After a couple of months of owning it; the printer is unable to hold more than 10 sheets of regular paper without jamming. it sometimes takes 4 minutes between pressing print and the time the printer starts printing. Printing will sometimes pause in the middle for a couple of minutes then resume to print another page and pause in the middle again.
There are days when i need to run the printhead cleaning interface 10 times. This printer handles address sticker sheets or anything that isn't regular copy paper very poorly and jams often. The paper feeder isn't aligned great and printings com askew. sometimes prints only half the page. I loved the concept of saving money on ink and the whole eco tank BUT IT WASTED HOURS OF MY PRECIOUS TIME- Avoid like the Pleague!

This is my second machine, and the quality of the printing is poor. The ink is Blotchy on the paper and it ruining all my prints. I returned one machine for the same issue and the new machine is doing the same thing. It does save a lot of ink, but the quality is poor

Printer kept jamming and after one year it don’t print bright anymore and I have full ink levels even reset it but nothing will fix my color issue when printing the first printer I had stop working I had to take it in to be fixed not very good I think great price though!!

This was a gift for my daughter for home schooling. She had problems with paper feeder. She returned it. Come to find out I lost my promotional certificate of $50. They cannot be used towards another purchase at Best Buy. We wanted to purchase another one. Not too happy.
