Good Hardware, but…

The doorbells that tout “head to toe” viewing still fall short of this because this has a second camera angled directly downward, allowing you to clearly see your packages or anything else underneath it, with a wide viewing area. However, the soft buttons on the screen can’t be hidden and take up most of that space, which is really annoying. Also, when you are viewing one camera, the other is also displayed as a picture-in-picture and it covers the most important part of the downward camera—the bottom right corner where you’d want to view! You can’t move the PIP square, I tried extensively and it’s not possible. Seems like a simple software fix but Eufy hasn’t gotten around to it so I’ll be exchanging for the Ring Pro 2. Also, 2K resolution is great, but if you try to view it on an Echo Show or Google Hub, it has to downscale, causing latency issues, disconnection of the feed and a horrible “ticking” sound. Great concept, lots of work needed on the software side.

I'm not a fan of having to connect directly by LAN cable to your router for setup, but it is easy to move to WiFi after it is configured. I had a few steps that didn't go quite as expected, but it was easy enough to recover. The interface on the app could use some work on UX but it does what you expect.

Decided to upgrade to the dual camera because it covered more area and I get packages often. Not only can I see more but it’s faster too. I recommend this doorbell.

Got the dual camera to see whole front porch for packages left. It actually sends notification when it sees a package. Nice feature. Like this better than our Ring.

Simple to set up and hardwired to doorbell makes it easy to install. Like the options to be able to talk through the device or leave a message.

One of the best doorbells i ever had.

It did require purchasing a separate wedge to allow flush mounting. However, both cameras now work exactly as planned. Battery seems to hold the charge for a good length of time. Recharging is easy.
