This is probably the most portable and comfortable keyboard, ever. I like the few neat features it has, but where it shines is the tactile feel while remaining pretty quiet. Also the usb-c is easy for traveling.

I really enjoy this keyboard. I have been using Cherry Red switches in keyboards for about six years now, this is my first keyboard with Cherry Brown. There is a very slight difference in the feel of the keys. Not anything that takes too long to get by, just a slight grab you can feel as feedback. The key presses are a little louder than other mechanical I have used. If you are getting this for work, you neighbors will not like you much. If not obvious going forward the keyboard is backlit. Fnatic has made some nice choices with the keyboard. The wrist rest is adjustable, held in place with small magnets to the base of the rest. You have 3 different distances you can play with with the wrist rest. The base of the rest clicks in to the bottom of the keyboard fairly easily, so easy you don't realize it actually locked in. While the feel is quite nice, and the quality is obvious in the feel, I did deduct a star here for one reason. The magnets are held in place by a sticker overlay. I would not have noticed this if not for one little problem...the sticker did not hold the magnet in place when I opened the keyboard and investigated the rest. I ended up super gluing the magnet in its slot. If you run into the same thing, use a toothpick to place the magnet as it will stick to tweezers. Fnatic has done a great job with the software, you can have 8 profiles you can rotate thru. I count the gaming modes as additional profiles. You have the standard assortment of predefined layouts. I like solid colors with keys set to specific colors for easy location when my fingers get knotted up. :D Additional nice features include: - USB 3.0 to USB C connection on the keyboard side. - Profiles are stored on the keyboard. If you hop between PCs, the profiles come with you. - Nameplate you can swap out or add a design to. (I'll never do it, since it faces away from me.) - Keyboard cord is detachable and around 6.5 foot long. - Fnatic took the time, that when powering up, the keys light up to spell F-N-A-T-I-C A few things I don't like: - The keys have a cheapish feel to them. Popping them off shows this is not the case, but the texture feels off. - I am pretty sure I will miss my number pad, but I knew this was a compact when I ordered it. - Not sure how long until I get a consistent feel for the brown switches. Also known going in. - I have never seen a back lit keyboard that is easy to see the keys with the back light off. No exception here. Bottom line I docked a star for QA only, I would have taken a half star if I could, but that is not an option. None of my other dislikes are worth dropping the rating because I knew these things going in outside of the key feel. The little added features almost got that half star back.

Awesome keyboard. Good amount of options to customize RGB, buttons are perfect not too soft not too hard. One of the reasons I got this particular board was for the wrist pad. Get the geek squad protection cheap and helpful if you use it a lot. Will save you money!

It's a budget-y gaming keyboard. The mx browns are much better than the reds or clickys that everything else comes with. Worked awesome for over a year of constant use, then got double types and had to use my 2 year replacement on it. I would buy again if it was between this and Corsair.

The high profile of the keys compared to most keyboards takes some adjustment, but is do-able. The lights changing color behind the keys is a bit of a distraction, but pretty unique. Seems like it will be easier to clean cat hair, crumbs, etc. from this one than with most.

Pro: Solid, slim, and light Adjustable wrist rest Portable Software not needed for macros or basic lighting patterns Fnatic OP app is easy to use Con: You can feel the letters on the keycap Top rows dimmer Lack advanced RGB features No dedicated media keys I was at first skeptical about this because it’s not one of the big major brands, but now I think this is going to be my new go to keyboard for a while. It’s really light and slim, but solid. There’s no cheap feeling plastic here. You can take this right out of the box, program macros and lighting, without the need to download the app, and it’s saved in the profiles so you can take it and go. The app does make it easier to do, allow lighting for individual keys, and it doesn’t need to be running in the background. The design is well thought out. Aesthetically, it’s slim and clean with only a few points of branding, of which the top/back is magnetic and can be removed. You can easily use this in an office and won’t get a weird look from your co-workers. The wrist pad is a simple but smart idea. The padding is magnetic and sits on a metal rail. The rail has three slots to adjust how far you want the padding to sit away from the keyboard. This supports my wrists better and allows for a much more ergonomic position. The lighting looks good with minimal light bleed and the Cherry browns are solid as always. Any negative comments I have are minor and nitpicky. For one I can feel the letters on the keycaps, with some letters being more noticeable than others. The top row is dimmer than the rest and I wish there were dedicated media keys next to the three buttons on top. Fnatic OP App: The app (still in early access) is simple and easy to use. It can do all the standards a gaming keyboard should be able to do, but it lacks advanced RGB features for those that want to really light up their keyboard with overlapping effects like you would find in Corsair’s CUE software. You can either assign individual keys a color or choose from one of the other eight effects such as wave, fade, reactive, etc. For those, you can only assign one color (or rainbow) and adjust the speed. What I like is that every key can be remapped or assigned a macro, plus double that number when you pair them with the Fn key. That makes the keyboard very versatile beyond gaming such as for editing software. I don’t use the scroll lock key so I assigned a macro to put the computer to sleep.
