Frankenstein
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I am a high school English teacher. I try to show film versions of a few of the novels we read in class. This version is one of the most faithful film versions of Shelley's novel I have seen. The acting is a little cheesey, but it does cover the novel pretty accurately. Its length is its drawback. It is 204 minutes long, so if you are a teacher with time constraints, edits may be required. If you are a stckler for novel to film accuracy, you'll like it. If you do want to show it to students, especially HS students, the content is fine, no language or nudity, and only minor, non-graphic violence.
