Friday the 13th part II, gets the Steelbook Blu-ray for the 40th Anniversary and it doesn't disappoint. If you are a fan of this killer franchise, get this one. The artwork is pretty good for the most part. This movie is the introduction of Jason Voorhees to the series. This is the Deluxe Blu-ray version, the same as the one found in the previously released Paramount 8 movie set. If you want a more detailed comprehensive set of the franchise, I may suggest you get the scream factory set of all the movies, and I mean all of them in the series. I cannot wait for the 40th Anniversary edition of Friday the 13th, part III Steelbook, also. I have always loved the artwork on that and the movie.

First of all I love part 2 it’s the first Friday the 13th to actually feature Jason. Also they Blu-ray transfer is great. Since this is the second year in a row we have gotten a 40th anniversary Steelbook I am hoping they continue this trend with all the rest.

Awesome steelbook and I'm really happy that these movies are getting the steelbook treatment! Keep em coming Paramount! Part 2 is one of my all time favorite horror films, I love the potato sack and overalls look and the opening of the film is classic. Hopefully the petty lawsuit soon ends and we can even more F13 greatness!

Yes the second one added to my collection I love this series this is my favorite horror killer these movies got out off hand after Cough cough takes over Manhattan this is a cool looking SteelBook I hope to see more instead of seeing all 8 movies in one steelbook

The steel book looks cool, it dos come with digital code, but i know ,how many times are they going to release this, But i think i think this is aimed at steel book collectors. It is the 40th Anniversary not a lot of new stuff,but its hard not to give these guys 5 stars

If your starting to collect steelbooks, this one is one of the great old-school movies you need to add. I still own the VHS and DVD versions so im excited to add this one for sure. Its worth the price so pick it up before there gone jr_hybrid_collectable

Awesome steel book. If your a Friday the 13th collector this is a must have. I'm looking forward to the rest of the series being relased like on steel book like ft13th and ft13th 2. This is also pretty cheap so well woth the money.

Awesome steelbook packaging! I love the 80s look of the old school theatrical release poster on the cover. The film is super cheesy and mid to low budget as far as production value and effects, but that’s the appeal and charm of slasher films.

i have been waiting for the blu-ray release for this movie forever! i am very satisfied with the outcome. image and sound were much better than DVD version. sharpness and details are about as good as the original 40 yrs old film stock quality was capable of. lots of little details are now visible and added to the narrative of the story. love the nostalgic 80's fashion, attitude and environment. Effortlessly authentic!

I have to admit that when I first saw this movie during the summer of 1983, and was on of the barrage of horror/slasher movies show case on my cable system. I was too young to really be watching but it was like a lot bad stuff during the 80's and it was bad tobe good! However, like the Halloween franchise part 1 and 2 are worth it for the classic collection. Steelbox option is the tops!

Cool artwork steelbook…problem is you take a risk when ordering steelbooks online especially from a big retailer as they just ship it inside a flimsy bubble envelope and call it a day.

Friday the 13th it's a classic, you would enjoy it I have it with the steelbook case anyone that's into horror movies or classic campfire horror movies this one's a great one I would recommend.

One of the best in the friday franchise and the steelbook is great, the paramount transfers are the best I've seen so far with this franchise.

Had to buy this because of the steelbook. All of his movies are really good to watch. You really can’t go wrong by on Friday the 13th part two. Just a great movie

I have been waiting for this product to be released in Blu-ray for quite some time. Now it is time for its release in 4K and 8K. Excellent old school horror movie.

My favorite Friday the 13th episode. Has some of the best kills and one of the best skinny dipping scenes. A++

This is a beautiful steel book. And it's out in time for the 40th anniversary! You gotta love it! It's one of the best sequels in the franchise! GET IT!
