It makes nice large ice cubes that don't melt after 5 minute. Much better than the nugget ice makers. I can easily use it to fill my cooler while camping.

Other issue is that ice comes out in sheets rather than discreet cubes. It’s easy to break up the sheets of small cubes, but the user should not have to do that. May be able to resolve that problem with some adjustment to cube size, but cubes are already small before that adjustment.

The ice cubes come out as a sheet and they are all connected and just too thick to break apart. It's a very poor machine. I do not recommend it.

Get a real ice maker

Broke down and had to get it replaced with a Geek Squad plan. Additionally, it was slow at making ice and noisy. I would never do a tabletop model again.

I have to get Best Buy to repair or replace as I filled the water in the top. It flooded out all over the place. What a mess should have a better drain plug system. Otherwise I guess it works.

Legitimately makes 40 lbs of ice a day and a great value compared to other clear ice makers in its class. It has a timer for making cubes. You can subtract or add 6 minutes to the cube making process. Minus 6 gives you a thinner ice, easier to crunch and break apart and plus 6 gives you a really thick cube that last all day and night in your contigos. The ice does come out in sheets and has to be broken apart, but that is no big deal to me compared to the quality ice you get compared to bullet ice.
