Overall I think it is a good product. My roommates and I were using 2 mini fridges for 3-4 people so it is a major upgrade. The extra space and freeze are great. I recommend you pay a little more and get a fridge with shelves and not the racks. I've seen the racks bend a little because of the weight of the items in the fridge. Otherwise I think it is good for the price we paid. I won't be anything extravagant.

This isn't a refrigerator you'd want to use as the main one in your kitchen. We use it in the basement for extra storage when our Sub Zero is full, and mostly to store beer. it's really for secondary use unless you can't afford a larger one or live in a small apartment. My only disappointment is that there is no wire shelf in the freezer, only something shaped like a miniature wire table, that serves no purpose. I actually threw it away. So when you stack food, you have to put one item on top of the other. There is nothing to separate the frozen items, top and bottom. I checked both Frigidaire's and Amazon's web sit and a full wire shelf, wall to wall, runs between $26-$30. Definitely not worth it. The other thing I discovered is that this model has been discontinued so that explains the low price. But no matter, this one runs well and if it goes bad, I'll just replace it rather than have it fixed.

Our old fridge was in its death throes, and we needed to replace it. It was also a white 18 cubic ft fridge with top freezer, but a Kenmore. It lasted 11 years, not too bad for a modern appliance. So we looked for one and found this Frigidaire on sale at Best Buy. It came with delivery, which was terrific. It has two clear plastic sliding drawers for the bottom crisper, and a glass shelf above, but then wire shelving for the rest. We hoped that our old glass shelving would fit, and to our joy, it did, so we have essentially the same interior we had. This didn't come with a meat drawer, but our old one fit. Another bonus. The cold is nice and cold, so much so that we had to turn it to a lower setting than our old one, and it is more energy efficient than our old one as well. The freezer space is a bit smaller, but it works so nicely--its great to have cold ice cream once again! The freezer only has a small wire rack on legs, not even half the width of the unit. Enough to stack ice cube trays three deep and two wide, and support whatever you put above that. My old freezer had a wire rack all the way across the freezer--and no, it didn't fit in this one: holes in sides were placed at different measurements. We don't miss an ice cube maker or a water filter--we never used that feature in the old one. it still fits two weeks worth of meat and miscellany in the freezer, so it suits our needs. Freezer doors have two shelves like my old unit. great for easy access to smaller packages and wide enough for a loaf of bread. The fridge unit door shelves are nice--wide enough to fit a gallon of milk on top shelf, and narrow on the bottom shelf for condiments, etc. So far we are very pleased with its quietness, its tightly closed magnetic seal, and the fact that we no longer have to deal with a puddle of water on the floor in the morning. :) For a cheap appliance, it is a nice product.

We hadn't planned on buying a new refrigerator, but due to a power surge, our old fridge suddenly quit working. So, we did a lot of online research into prices, and this refrigerator was the least expensive model we could find that fit our needs. It is very plain, but it has plenty of space in it, and it runs just fine. For people on a budget, this is a practical choice.

    Nice 2nd fridge

Great 2nd refrigerator, does what it’s supposed to – keep food cold. Things to note: • Noisy (like a microwave running) but this will sit in the garage or basement – no big deal • Wire rack shelving is flimsy (sags with weight). I didn't want the rack to look like it’s smiling at me every time I opened the door, so I zip-tied steel conduit to the front, middle, and back of the bottom of the rack. No sag at all. After 1 month of ownership, a good value for the price.

Good value for the money, Solidly built for a lower end refrigerator. Seems to have no operational or major design flaws. Decent size (18 cubic ft) Split door for freezer, Nice looking with black option. Runs quiet. Temperature controls are analog, but are easy to set and not a problem for me. With Best Buy discount, was better value than other brands looked at.

    Perfect for Garage!

Needed a fridge for garage. Reviews seemed to indicate this unit would do fine. I have it against an inside wall. I was pleased with the price, but this is a very basic unit and didn't even come with ice cube trays, just a removable rack in the freezer. There is no light in the freezer but adequate space with shelves in the door. The refrigerator is spacious and has two crisper drawers. As stated above, the unit is loud when the motor is cycling. I doubt it is because it is in a garage because the weather was fairly mild when I first purchased unit and noticed the noise. The final drawback may be just about me. Seems every time I bend down for the crisper drawers, when I go to stand up I bang my head on the freezer handle. And I am short! Again, maybe just me and I have been used to a bottom freezer fridge for many years. I would recommend this fridge as an economical basic unit.

Good value for the price - expect to buy an additional shelf for the freezer as the little shelf is useless and you waste a lot of space in the freezer without a full-sized shelf. Refrigerator is great, lots of room, okay quality re: doors, drawers, etc. Love the door storage for milk, juice, and soda pop. Not so good for bottled water (the retaining bar is too low and water bottles tip right over and out of the door when you open it.

we really like this Fridge, its a nice size, simple and basic, no worries for anything to go wrong, like ice makers or fancy door features. it sits flush against the wall, which is nice being one side you can see and it doesn't leave a gap behind the fridge. the shelves are a little flimsy but hold up several gallons of water and several bottles of juice. just worry they may sag over time, they flex/bounce when you set heavier things on them. also no shelf in freezer but we found a wire counter-top space saving shelf that fit in there well! all in all a nice fridge, great price!

Just moved into a temporary house in the Dallas, Texas area and was in need of a decent, but not crazy expensive fridge (I'm saving my pennies for a larger one once the new home is purchased). Decent amount of room for two-person's-worth of food; perfect temperature. If you're looking for a no frills option, this one would be it.

Picked it up as a garage fridge and it does the job admirably. If it was in the kitchen, the noise might annoy me a bit, and I would need a larger freezer, but that's not a knock on the unit, I knew all the dimensions when I bought it, just pointing it out as part of the decision process.

Our product was supposed to be delivered on a Monday. When Monday came and went I contacted the local store. I was assured that it was their mistake and promised a $75 gift card for my inconvenience as my product would not be delivered until Friday. Friday came and went and the product was delivered but it was not set up properly. I contacted bestbuy.com and was redirected to our local store. Needless to say, the gift card NEVER arrived and we couldn't use our product for another few days. Product great.....service not so much!

keeps cold things cold - only complaint is that its a little loud when running 'idle'...also should've looked closer - i prefer the glass shelves instead of the metal wire shelves...oh well...it was cheap...

Just needed a basement fridge. This one for the dimensions I was looking for. It has great capacity but the unit is a bit louder than I expected but it's in the basement so I don't care much.

The compressor makes lots of noise. I can hear it from upstairs. Apart from that it is a good fridge. Does the job of keeping things cool. If noise is not an issue for you, this a good buy.

No complaints. Had it for about a month, good price for what you get. Was looking for a basic fridge for my garage and after shopping around I felt this was best bang for my buck. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles.

For a basic refrigerator, this one is very good. Bought it for a winter home, so we didn't want to spend a lot for added features and extra size. Everything works as it should. No complaints.
