I have enjoyed this fitness tracker so far. It tracks all kinds of activity. The only thing I am not thrilled about is the wristband. Mine has a tendency to fall off my wrist from time to time. It sometimes fall of while I am sleeping. This is not good.

I got this to replace a FITBIT and didn't expect to enjoy it's functions as much as I am. Item was on sale for about half the price of the Fitbit so was willing to make do with any features that were lacking...nothing was! If I had a complaint, it would be the band closure...prefer one that functions more like a watchband so I ordered a different one.

It doesn't work so well on eliptical. It is hard to define if the eliptical is working wrong or it is the watch. The calories difference between eliptical and the watch are 50 or 70 calories. However, it is a great product and I love the graphs.

This was purchased for my 12 yr old son as a started tracking device and it has been exactly as we expected. Only disappointment is that he gets zero activity for riding his bike, which he does a lot of. I like the sleep tracking feature and I feel that is pretty accurate. It's been a great motivator for him to keep him up and moving.

I really like the vivo fit 3. Not having wo worry about charging the battery is great. I also like the program that tracks the info. The only problem is you can't see the time at night because you can't increase the light intensity.

This watch has been great for tracking daily fit stats. Is it a feature rich runners watch no but does it work great for day to day yes. It is easy to operate the phone app works very well. It has replaced me wearing a normal watch. It is pretty accurate on the sleep function and easily tracks my daily stats. If you need a basic fit watch this one is great.

Garmin Vivofit compared favorably to Fitbit

I had several different versions of the Fitbit from the Flex, to the Charge an even the Blaze. I was not impressed with their durability. Bands would break, couldn't wear it in the pool and misfunctions with the syncing to my iPhone 7. The Garmin Vivofit has held up great, looks and feels more substantial and syncs well with My Fitness Pal.

    Good upgrade from Vivofit 1

I got this one to replace my Vivofit 1 which lost a lot of display cells all of a sudden. The screen is smaller but easier to read. Backlight is a huge plus. Setting up was tricky because the enclosed guide skips steps. I had to call the customer service. It syncs faster than Vivo1. The clasp is more secure than Vivo1 but the top tooth keeps coming off of the hole which is annoying. It didn't come with Ant USB adapter like Vivo1 which is bad. How would people connect it to their computers? It also doesn't come in an HR monitor bundle option. I haven't tried my HR monitor chest strap with it but was told it is compatible. So if you have a Garmin chest strap you can use it with this product. I'm cutting 1 star because of those drawbacks, the operation is 5 star.

Had a FitBit Charge 2 that broke after about a year of use; replaced it with the Garmin vivofit 3 and so far so good. Performs just as well and is water resistant so don't have to take it off to take a shower.

I like the sleep though my sleep doctor say only measures arm movement not deep and light sleep. It does encourage me to move more and sleep more. Good value for price.

Got this for my son. It works great as an activity tracker. He basically uses it as a watch/step counter. It is perfect for his age group. A reasonable price, durable, and isn't too big on his wrist. He has had issues with skin irritation with other products but that has not been an issue with this item.

Bought this product due to the 1 year battery life. I hated charging my old fitness device every three or four days. So far, so good with this one. Doesn't monitor heartbeat, but the battery life trumps that for me.

I bought this for a friend that was working on increasing her activity. She said it has really helped motivate her to walk more and now she feels naked without it. She likes that it's waterproof and that she can change the band to something pretty when she wants to.

Much better than the second generation tracker. Everything I did not like about the second generation has been improved upon any third-generation. It knows when I am walking even if I am not swinging my arms and does not come apart as easily as a second generation.

Icons on the watch are very small, they are hard to see. Does not count steps when arms are stationary, I have to attach it to my ankle when I use a step machine.

I loved the watch and activity tracker. It's waterproof and worked great. The down side is the strap needs updating. It was constantly coming off despite how much I tightened it.
