This air conditioner is great for a small room. It's fairly light and does not weigh a lot. It keeps my 20x20 bedroom cool without any issues. It's pretty straightforward, not many features, but as expected for the price. The remote is helpful. Easy installation, easy instructions. The only issue that I have is after leaving the air conditioner on high for about 5 hours or so you can hear the water build up in the unit which can sound unpleasant but will decipitate in about an hour or so by changing the unit to fan mode.

The AC works pretty good in my bedroom. Energy-efficient and easily to clean filter. Remote is a bonue.

The A/C itself is excellent, Only negative thing about my order was there was minor cosmetic damage to the unit itself, Nothing to effect the performance tho, I think lol so its cool

Have not had this unit long enough to say excellent. It works fine still hot 12-5 but sun shines on that side of house also. I like my home cold 68-70 so that may be why. Other people think is cool enough. You know you have to sit right in front of it to feel it. Filter warning went off but filter was clean.

This was the only small A/C I could find with the filter sliding out from the left side and could fit the dimensions of a custom built wooden box in the window. Once installed it looked small but very nice.

Great ax especially for the price. Love it and will recommend it to anyone I know.

It’s a good little ac unit it keep the room cool really good and I have it on 64. It’s a little noise sound like water Leaking.

I got it for my bedroom feels like I love in Alaska... awesome cooling , not too noisy and super cool remote.. I am a happy customer I just ordered another one for my guest room.

This GE unit was an excellent value. It was purchased for the second floor bedroom in a bungalow style home. Installation was good and I was able to obtain the correct position for good drainage, however, the vinyl windows did not have a good spot for the security tabs, and I ended up putting extra screws in the window frame to prevent the window from opening. Performance is good and blows nice cold air, and the unit is pleasantly quiet. Remote is a nice touch. There are only two things I do not like, but they are minor: The vents can be aimed side to side, but range of movement is limited and there is no vertical adjustment. The second thing is that the unit starts in Eco Mode, which is fine, but the next step in the controls is Fan, which turns off the compressor and means you have to wait a couple minutes for it to come back on when you try to change from Eco to Normal. Minor quibble, but it would have been more logical to go Eco, Normal, Fan. Overall though, I'm very happy with the purchase.

Pros: Easy to install, cools well, digital thermostat, lots of settings to choose from, handy remote, pretty quiet when fan alone is on. Con: When the compressor kicks in, the noise level is high. In order to get to sleep at night, I’ve had to run the AC at full blast, then change setting to Eco Mode (compressor cycles off and on) and set thermostat to higher temperature. This allows the fan to circulate cool air without the compressor running.

Not to bad for a small room, cools nicely and fan, eco, and auto option. It is noisy though, and takes some getting used to. Easy install, weight around 30 pound so not bad for a second or third floor walk up. Also energy efficient!

Good size good price . Definitely cools off a small room . The remote gives it a nice touch . However when I place my ac on the low setting it makes a popping and cracking noise all night which I can’t take !!! Other then that it’s perfect .

The air conditioner works really well in small rooms. The price for it is really reasonable. The remote is really nice as well. Easy to use.

This AC unit is small and appropriate for my needs in my bedroom. It cools well, even on a low or eco setting. It does have a hum noise, but I got used to it. Importantly, it’s relatively lightweight and easy to install for this beginner single woman. It also has a clean modern look.

I brought this unit because my home office often get to the 90's. The PROs: This unit is great at cooling the room down. The functions are simple and very easy to install. Not very heavy. I built a sliding window brace for the unit that is easily removable when needed. The CONs: it is loud enough I have to turn it off when I have a any conference calls. If left mounted in the window debris can easily get into the unit.

It has helped me survive the New York summer heat and humidity. Love the automatic temperature setting helps keep my bedroom cool! The delay setting helps me get home to a cool room after coming home from work and surviving the NY heat.

Good air conditioner. A significant design flaw however is the "two way" air flow adjustment. Left-right is one "way" of adjusting the air flow direction, not two. There is no up-down adjustment. I can think of no reason to omit what should be a standard feature. It would have added pennies to the cost of manfacturing this air conditioner. Oddly, when I push the louvers to the left, more air comes out the right side, and vice versa. I had to make a forty five degree angled air diverter out of poster board to prevent the air from blowing at me. This air conditioner is designed, after all, for small rooms which means the unit will be closer to the people in the room. That's why an up-down adjustment is essential.

works good ,it's not noisy, Not crazy abbout set up for installing ,seen easier more practical and easy structural setups. I seen GE products in my homes ,work since very young ,I definitly trust the brand when it comes to home appliances! And that's coming from a person that was born in Central America! Service a little spotty at Best buy ...seem to be short handed another point,this baby is not heavy at all !...RIGTH SIZE RIGHT WEIGH
