Sequel better than the first

For one thing it's fun and the fun comes from it being set at a carnival where our title monsters can wreak havoc. The original Ghoulies is more of an origin story for what the diminutive creatures. They are small demonic servants that get summoned in some sort black magic ceremony. Dull stuff really and nothing horror fans wouldn't have seen before.

I'd say if you like cheesy horror, this is for you. I've seen better in this particular field of cheese horror. Still, Ghoulies 1 and 2 are fun films. This is a single disc set, but both films still look great.
