Godzilla fights a giant lobster, what can I say?
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Fun fact: This movie was originally going to star King Kong, hence why Godzilla's opposition in this movie ranks as one of the weakest he's faced in his long career. Honestly, this isn't one of the big G's best outings, even with it being during his sillier movies of the 60s and 70s. The biggest draw here is that for the first time, the original Japanese-language version is available in the US (hence why it carries the title of "Ebirah: Horror of the Deep"....yep, this giant crustacean had a name outside of simply "The Sea Monster"). There's not too much of a difference between it and the english-dubbed version, so feel free to watch whichever one you want. But still, if you're an avid fan and collector of all things related to the King of the Monsters, it's a very cheap addition to your collection.
