Everything works great! Asked for a Power Supply installation and I have had 0 problems ever since! They also gave me a little cleaning from the looks of it. 10/10

First, I'm pretty adept at computer repair. I build my own desktops and have put in multiple SSDs in laptops, and even repaired a power jack in a dell laptop. But, when I tried to put an SSD in a newer HP laptop, it became a HUGE pain. Multiple wires to unplug, moterboards to remove, big headache. For the price Geek Squad charges, it wasn't worth my headache. I purchased the SSD online from another vendor, brought it in to Geek Squad and paid them the flat fee to install. Done, and laptop is now speedy fast. Very happy.

The Geek Squad did a great job of replacing my 5400 rpm 1 TB laptop drive with a 1 TB solid state drive. It improved my computer speed 100% or more. Very fast now. Took 3 days and they transferred over my data as well.

After having so many problems with Geek Squad warranty/customer service help in the past, I finally just let my warranties expire. No more renewals for me, I thought, since it didn't help anyway. Just throwing money away on bad customer service, I thought. Of course, a month after it lapsed, the computer breaks. I think they are set on timers to do just that. ;) This time it was different. No making me wait days or weeks for BASIC parts that should be kept in stock. They had everything dealt with that day, fast, awesome. I've stopped nay-saying Geek Squad. Keep this up and I might actually start promoting this service again to my friends like I did in the beginning (before all the problems). :)

Added 4g additional ram to an older laptop. I'm not tech savvy, wanted it done right. Called ahead for an appt. Next afternoon I was in the store, extra ram installed within 15 mins, computer speed and operation really improved. Tech guys were very pleasant and explained my options clearly. Very happy with my revitalized old laptop.

Had my laptop up and running again in no time. I played for days and gave up.

Geek Squad did a wonderful job with the installation. The computer works wonderfully. The agent who rang us up was wonderful and knowledgeable. The product is perfect for our needs. The only problem we has was when we went to pick up our computer, we waited for 20 min. and no one acknowledged that we were there. I had to go around to two people sitting in chairs chatting with each other to ask for help. The young man (Manager) said he would send someone over. Then they continued with their conversation after a bit the manager called someone out from the back. To bring us our computer and check us out.

Geek Squad helped me to know what battery to purchase for my laptop and installed it . It works so much better now and holds a charge far longer. Thank you!

In a previous rating I stated that if you can buy it at BestBuy, you should start there first. Prompt service, educated sales people, and their Geek Squad is the same quality. My upgrade was done on time, quick in and out. Because of the experience in buying the right television to fit my needs, I went back for other items needed for other interests.

They did an amazing job on installing my CPU Cooler and it only costed me about $40 to have it installed since i had already bought the Cooler before hand. only reason i didn't give 5 stars is because they didnt do a good job with the wires i thought they could have done a better job keeping the wires neat without me having to do it but they still did amazing.

I have taken many an item to many a Geek Squad. Brighton, Mi is by far the best. They have genuinely knowledgeable people who treat their customers with patience, kindness, and compassion. They are happy to explain what they are doing to your beloved item. As well as the pros & cons of price, repair, replace or future problems Ann Arbor, Novi, and Southfield all have EXTREME attitude problems. Kalamazoo, Traverse City, and Ann Arbor lack knowledge. Portage needs more people, the wait times are beyond ridiculous.

Very impressed with the speed of turn around time and completely satisfied with their installation services. No high pressure either! When my brother recommended I replace my hdd with a ssd, he also added that my particular laptop model does not make it easy for someone to self install the drive. So the Geeks were great and they reinstalled Windows 10 after the replacement. However, I did not elect to have them retrieve the old drive's contents and transfer to the new drive.

Had to have Windows 11 reinstalled on my system, to it in to Best Buy in Saratoga Springs. System was reinstalled as i waited, i was in and out of the store within an hour. Great timely service.

Normally I would install the new power supply and video board, but my son said that it was a lot harder on these new computers and HE paid to have it done. They did a great job and was completed days before I was expecting it to be done. We live over a hour away from the store and we should have stayed in town! It was that quick. The need to make appointments is a nuisance, but it really does make things go quicker and easier. I will use them again.

Customer service representatives were all helpful and attentive.

i brought my computer in to get fixed. I thought it was a power supply issueand it was.The computer was diagnosed and the power supply was replaced the same day. My daughter needed my computer to finish her school project on. i got the computer fixed and back so quickly that my daughter got her school project done in time.

Zach was super kind and very knowledgeable about what he was doing. He had let me know his shift was ending soon so he installed the hardware right away before he was done for the day so I was able to take my computer home with me that day instead of having to go back for it at a later date which I appreciated immensely.

amazing experience. they all deserve a raise for how easy the experience was. and also on how fast it took. people should take best buy as a option.
