It is a lovely movie about father daughter relationship. The cutting edge technology of CGs are great shown in this movie. However, the story is a bit blunt and predictable, and monster jokes are flat. Dracula drinks vege substitute for blood is not necessary, and the main character never really get dangerous makes the story flatter. This movie's most likely influenced by Hayao Miyazaki's Spirited Away. (Spirited Away is a great movie deserves to Academy Award at that time, but some parts do not add up because it's very Japanese especially the Dragon, Faceless, and the Baby. Also the last scene does not give the audience feeling of closure, anywho...) Most of all, I do not understand Adam Sandlar was chosen for a main voice actor of this movie. It was horrifying, in different way, that he talks and sounds exactly like Steve Carell's Gru character in Despeakable Me.

I really love that Sony Home Video continues releasing Blu-ray + DVD combo packs. I purchased this combo pack for $9.99. I sold off the 3D blu-ray disc (not interested) for $5, the DVD of the film (no need) for $3.50 and the digital copy activation code (I don't stream!) for another $3. I kept the 2D blu-ray (the only disc I want or need) for myself. PLUS the case had a Movie Cash offer for $7.50 towards the ticket price of Pixels. I'd say that was a deal... for me, at least.

I ordered this movie online because it came with digital copy. What I received was a repackaged movie that was missing the digital copy. I called best buy and they connected me to the online tech service. They were not able to give me a code for the DC because the movie was too old.

Not sure why my daughter likes it since it is a bit more disgusting than the typical animation movies she watches (like Frozen, Tangled)...but she likes it, so I guess they are doing something right. I don't care too much about it, but it was cheap and came with free movie cash to go see Pixels in the theater.

Adorable movie for children of all ages! My only complaint is that I didn't find much value in the 3D movie. There weren't really all that many parts where the 3D seemed to jump out at you. Therefore, I don't find it necessary to buy the 3D version of this movie.

We received the movie and the kids love it but there was no digital download included. Haven't had a chance to return it.

Only reason I bought this movie was for the digital copy and the item sent did not include one. Movie was returned.

As a fan of the classic Universal monster movies, I enjoyed seeing the characters in this funny, fun, movie

Enjoyed the movie, but it still seemed to be lacking in some aspect. Can't quite put my finger on it. Songs were pretty good, but a bit forgettable.

Brought it so I can follow for part 2, but it is so so movie that I did not even finish yet. It has famous actor cast for voice and just a little funny.

I chuckled a few times at this movie. Adults might moan and groan at this movie. But kids will love this movie, my niece and nephew love this film.

This is an okay movie but if you're looking between this and the second one, go for the second one. You'll be happy you did.

My kids liked this show so I decided to buy it for them I also took them to see the 2nd one and by far this one was much better.

this movie wasnt bad. adam sandler plays adam sandler in adam sandler: the vampire. i guess. if you like AS, youd probably like this.

This is not a great movie...but visually it's stunning....especially in 3d. Good for an afternoon for the 10 and under set.

A movie that we bought for our daughter to watch. It works better than short cartoon dvds.

I guess I was expecting more, but the kids enjoyed it. It kept them entertained, but I don't think it was a must own.

This move was alright. My daughter whatches CGI movies all the time, but for some reason couldn't get into this one.

A concerned father with corny dracula voice who is likable but a predictable story isn't very compelling.
