The printer is super fast and the prints are very detailed. The only problem I have is that you can't do a scan from the printer's control panel and have it show up on a computer in .pdf format. Although you can use the computer's Scan app and do a scan to that computer as a .pdf, but that is a lot of walking back & forth if the 2 aren't close to each other.

I have had many printers in the past, mostly ink jets and decided to switch to laser for cost effective reasons. This HP laser printer was everything I desired, very easy to install, had all the features I wanted, prints come out perfect, and toner vs. ink is saving me money in the long run. Very pleased so far !

We were looking for a printer to replace a color ink jet and a laser printer for our home. I have a college and high school kids. I also run a business. We keep the printer in a central location and family WiFi/AirPrint to the printer. Quality of the color prints and the picture we print are fantastic. A little slower than my high end printer at work but definitely fits our needs.

I highly recommend this for the casual user and the power user. Casual users, this is the best choice. Ink dries up or evaporates when not in use.

Maybe I got a bad apple or something, but I will be taking this in for replacement. It hasn't printed a single page without problems. I have run every service it has multiple times to clean the printer with no success.

Hey there,
I'm really sorry to hear that you haven't been able to successfully print a page! I can definitely imagine how inconvenient this is, especially since you've already worked to troubleshoot the issue. With that said, I'd really like to help resolve this for you, so let's see how I can help.
As I'm not too sure what the underlying issue is, I recommend reaching out to us for support. We'd be more than happy to address and help remedy this with you. You can get in touch via your preferred method at this link: hp.com/contactHP
I'd also like to mention that HP printers do have a 1-year warranty from their date of purchase. If you find that you need to, I hope you'll make use of it. You can verify your warranty status at the following link: support.hp.com/checkwarranty
We look forward to speaking with you!

Excellent quality and performance and all the features for a home office or small business. Color laser printer, fax, scanner, copier, document feeder, double-sided scanning, automatic double sided printing, USB, LAN network, wireless network, scan to email, scan to USB flash drive, scan to cloud, print remotely directly to printer (from outside your network), touch screen controls.
I had an older model HP all-in-one (about 2 generations older). This newer model is better in every way. It's faster, quieter, about 35% smaller in size and print quality is excellent. Great job HP.
I personally wouldn't buy a refurbished though, warranty is important on these kinds of devices as they are expensive to ship and repair

Replaced a HP 62xx model inkjet with this unit. This is the first laserjet for home. Unless your printing pictures, lasers typically are less cost to operate. I've scanned some pictures/documents and they were good quality. Printed out letters (b/w and color) and look good and speed was good. I haven't really worked it too much, since I've only had it a month. I've been wanting a laserjet and prefer physical/Ethernet connections. The eprint is nice though for printing from my phone and tablet. Seems to be a good value for the features and cost.

Good product, stable, easy to assemble. I went from Ink Jet to Laser as my Ink cartridges dried quickly. Prints good quality. I usually set it up B/W to save color. No jams. Copy runs good, fax is good.
Nice size but remember a bit heavier.

I purchased this printer to replace my old laser jet that often ate a lot of ink and produced less than adequate, often streaked print results. Out of the box this printer was easy to set up. The printer is reliable and produces excellent results. I have used many of the features to fax, scan, copy, as well as scan and email or send things to my printer when I am not even home. It has been one year since I purchased the printer and I am just now purchasing new print supplies. The standard cartridges still have some life left in them. The 202A cartridge is good for about 1400 prints, and the 202X replacements are good for approximately 3200 prints. I used my birthday savings with Best Buy and saved even more!

Came very well packed, everything taped down. Easy to set-up. Is quite heavy though. Has printed very well - unless signal problems over wifi, then it makes a mess of things. Software can be finicky and not delete projects as quickly as would be expected. Prints very fast!

This printer is an upgrade from my old MFP m 277 DW wireless printer. I was in the process of setting it up when I was pleasantly surprised to see that it was printing documents from my Mac Mini desktop wirelessly as that I have always used the USB cable with it. I was also able to set up my other Mac devices at home without any problem. I'm glad that I did the upgrade.

The setup is fairly easy with the exception of the fax driver support from a connected computer and the issues running the installation to completion (Window 10 Pro). The system needed the HP Universal Fax driver installation to provide the driver to support PC applications and was not installed by the basic driver or 'complete' installation. As is typical with HP installations there are to many junk packages with the 'complete' install -- recommend sticking with the basic driver and universal fax installer -- that provides print, scan and fax operations from a connected pc or manually from the printer.

Printer was easy to install and configure, works great on wireless network. Thought it is odd that you cannot have dual homed setup with wireless and wired connection. Need to have wireless for direct WiFi operation. Prints are sharp and fast. Business graphics are impressive. Photos are less so, would not recommend for photos even with laser photo paper, and prints are a little pixelated. Scanner feeder tends to skew images to one side, but this is easily corrected in software before saving or printing. Does impact direct copy function. Hence 4/stars for this and photo quality. Overall, great printer for price.

I had the previous version of this printer. I'm one user, at home. It should have lasted a lot longer. It needed a new fuser (cost: $100, $50 labor). That's 1/2 the cost of this new printer. I do not like to add to landfills and wish I could have kept my 2 year old printer, but in the end, I gave it up and purchased the next model. It is lighter and feels flimsy compared to the previous version. However, it a plug and play, just like the previous version. So far working fine. I just don't think these items should be so disposable. I think the parts should be more reasonable, so we may fix them...but that doesn't fit with the grand money making plan.
