    Bought this as a replacement for an HP 8610 that had given years of faithful service before dying. I had a few problems setting it up, even with the smart installation software, and it's a bit noisy and slower than the 8610, but so far it's done what I needed it to do.

    A HP rep set up the printer so all I had to do was plug it in. That was very helpful. Rebate on old printer was nice.

    This printer has been difficult to use since we got it. It is unreliable and It is slow to respond to print requests. The paper tray is not easily accessed.
